Ryan was an excellent server tonight. Professional, friendly and attentive. Pizza was delicious and toppings plentiful. Have never been disappointed when dining at Lou’s. Originally from Chicago area and frequented Lincolnwood and Elk Grove Village, IL locations often. Glad to have a location in a Surprise, AZ.

Service was excellent! The Calamari is spicy and no where on the menu does it specify that fact. The server told us the dip sauce was spicy but the calari deep fry batter is VERY S P I C Y! All 3 of us (out of 4) were totally unable to eat it...sad too, as we all LOVE calamari and my husband loves spicy food but that was even too spicy for him....said he could not taste the calamari at all. Our server took it away yet she was unable to replace it with toasted raviolis because she said they ran OUT of those by 6pm! More tweaking Guys!! We may try again once you are open for a while....

Every item is delicious—from appetizers to salad and pizza. Deep dish preferred although thin crust also very good. Toppings are generous on pizza. Have enjoyed Lou’s in Lincolnwood, IL since early 70’s and glad we finally have a sitdown restaurant in Surprise. Service also very good; servers knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Thank you.

I was with a family of four and they sat us at the smallest table you could possibly sit anybody at. We had no space for anything on a table. We asked for a booth which they were unable to accommodate, even though there were several available. Shortly after we sat, they sat two people in a large booth , which didn’t make any sense to me. Our server Nancy was absolutely fabulous and very knowledgeable. The food was great. I just won’t be looking forward to going back to a small table with my family.

We had a reservation at 2:30 and were seated right away when we arrived. The food was excellent and our waitress very attentive. She had our drinks refilled without us asking for it. The ambiance was very pleasant, the music was not too loud and we were able to hear each other talk. We will be back for sure!

This locations service was very disappointing even after setting reservations the day before for my family we still waited forever for our table as we watched them help walk in customers before getting us a table. Then once we got our table we waited about 30 min before having to ask a waitress if someone was going to take our order while watching customers around us get seated and get their order taken before we were helped. Then the waitress came to our table and stated she was sorry for us waiting she just clocked in….. as if the one employee showing up late for work justified no other employee being able to take our order if the employee who would be assigned the table hasn’t showed up to work yet. The food itself was good but the service was horrible even with reservations that seemed pointless from the time we entered the restaurant to the time we got our food we waited over an hour! I can’t see going back to this restaurant unless takeout is available.

Great service and food! I definitely recommend making a reservation!! We waited less than 5 minutes for our table!! It was incredibly busy, but the staff was still calm, friendly and professional! Pizza is delicious!!
