   This has been one of our favorite restaurants but our dining experience on 3-16-25 at 4pm had too many misses. I usually order the boneless short ribs but the server informed me that the risotto was being substituted with mashed potatoes. I asked if the Scallops came with risotto and the server said yes. He said that the cook didn't have enough risotto so he was reserving it for the scallops. ( This is a poor excuse). The scallops were small and the chef did not remove the tough muscle attached to the scallops. The pork belly was near raw. The lobster bisque that my girlfriend ordered didn't have a hint of lobster and it was watery. The tiny bread pieces were soaked in oil and impossible to handle without getting oil all over your fingers and dripping down your wrist. The server was excellent.

   Prices were outrageous for a BYOB. Party of 4 for 2 appetizers and 4 meals nothing else was $200. Nothing special. Waited 20 minutes to be seated despite a reservation. Not worth returning to for the money. Similar restaurants with more reasonable prices anywhere.

   Service was great. The bread that came out seemed stale and lacked taste. We shared the prosciutto wrapped shrimp. We all felt the shrimp had extra salt added which we didn’t like. We had the house salad which was very good. Three of us had the pan seared salmon. It was cooked very well. The sauce was overly sweet. The scallops were good.

   Food was delicious. I recommend the pork chop or short rib. Service was attentive and helpful. BYOB which is great. We will definitely return!

   My wife and I wanted a nice quiet anniversary dinner with a delicious food and great service. We had both. Starting with fresh oysters ,my wife had the lamb chops cooked to perfection, I had the seafood fra diabolo just the perfect amount of heat. Dessert was caramel bread pudding and a limoncello cake. The perfect meal to go with our favorite champagne.

   Our first visit. The bread should come with a warning- took one bite and olive oil was dripping down my chin and all over my hands. Done with that. The potato leek soup was delicious and rich. The glazed cherry pepper calamari was tender with a light, crispy batter and just enough heat. Entrees: day boat scallops were good, but my halibut had a crust like wood veneer and the fish itself was overcooked and dry. We shared the Lemoncello cake and that was fantastic- rich with marscapone cream but still refreshing because of the bright lemony flavor. Tony, our server, was great, attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. So overall, more good than not. We’ll definitely go back and try some of the other entrees.

    As always, the food was outstanding, service was top notch and the ambiance was nice. Great time celebrating our second anniversary.
