Lovers Seafood and Market is the second concept from Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing, the partnership that produced the local favorite Shinsei.

In an age where independent, neighborhood, specialty shops are virtually extinct, Lovers Seafood and Market is committed to the principles of personally providing our community exceptional quality, fair pricing, and excellent service. We strive for these goals while maintaining both a respect to, and a responsibility for, the health of our ocean waters.     Great service! And we had never tried the Sunday fried chicken - well, wow amazing. May be best in Dallas.

    I hadn’t been since they remodeled & expanded. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was upbeat. Will definitely be back!

    Totally overstimulating and very loud! The food is spectacular and really nothing to complain about in that regard. Our complaint lies with the seating and the cramped space of the restaurant and the noise level. We were seated on their patio (enclosed) and when first seated it wasn’t too busy. As the meal went on more and more tables were sat and the noise level went through the roof and we could barely hear ourselves talk. The server was doing her best and was great at her job but seemed overwhelmed with the amount of tables and having to squeeze herself between chairs and tables because they are so close together. They have crammed so many tables in to their space (including front of house) that you are literally sitting shoulder to shoulder to tables on all sides with no room to really move. My party agreed the food was great but that we wouldn’t be eating in person again but would order takeout. But they also add a charge for to go orders so there’s that to contend with.

    Really bad service at lunch. No refills on iced tea. No table touches

    Ask for Justin "Catfish" - he took care of us more than I have EVER been taken care of at a restaurant (!), and I am eternally grateful, and in awe. His recommendations were amazing, the raw oysters were so, so good. If you want fresh seafood in Dallas, THIS is the place.

    Have eaten here multiple times. Each time we come the menu, the food, the service, and the surroundings are exceptional. That is why we keep coming back. Lots of tasty options for those who are not fish lovers too. Great cocktails and reasonably priced wine list too.

    This was my first time at this restaurant & I thought it was a fun & festive experience. The ambiance was incredible, the hostesses & wait staff were friendly & very attentive. Our appetizer and dinner was really good. I ordered the rainbow trout, it was somewhat blackened.. not sure if it was the seasoning or the way it was cooked. I also had the key lime pie for dessert & I loved it! Cocktails are a little pricey. Loved listening to the live music near our table. I hope to come back soon & try some different entrees.

    Arrived at 604 for dinner, seated fast. Ordered an old fashion to start which took 10 minutes to arrive. Wife then ordered a drink and tuna tower at same time. Drink took 20 minutes appetizer took longer. Tables seated after us got food and checked out faster. Food then came out after about an hour and 10 minutes. Ordered second drink and came after 10 minutes. Too many kids in the place. Used to be a place I took dates to but wouldn’t anymore as ambience is off. Checked out at 740. 1 appetizer, 3 drinks, 2 enters. No complaints on food as shrimp and grits always hit, tuna tower always top notch. Will stay away for a bit.

    Consistently great food and so glad that all of our favorites continue to shine no matter the day or time for those visiting guests that we brought along to show off 'where we like to go'. Crispy coconut shrimp, Smoked Salmon, Halibut, Cajun Fries, smores pie - all staples.
