Lucca Osteria & Bar is the vision of chef and veteran restaurateur, Claudio Ulivieri and his partner Steven Hartenstein. Raised near the Italian city of Lucca, Claudio’s passion for food began. He brought this passion to the States, and started his culinary career as a chef. Now, after decades of creating menus and running restaurants, he and his partner have opened Lucca Osteria - tapping into his roots - to share his favorite rustic Italian flavors with you. amazing food every time! Price point is competitive but worth it!! Desserts are incredible! Always one of our favorites!

Very welcoming. Attentive service and despite the portion size the food was tasty . The circuses with a few of the dishes such as the fettuccine Alfredo and the charcuterie board were fresh renditions. Our server Deanna was good up until the restaurant became busier and John the host checked with us several times. The chef also came out of the kitchen to greet patrons, Nice touch Great eatery

Our experience was great, service was perfect. Food was awesome and Stephen walked around checking on tables along with chef Claudio.

Always an incredible experience! Food is consistently so good, seasonal menu changes are interesting, and the staff and ownership are always there to greet you and make sure everything is perfect! Truly a family restaurant with great food.

Best lamb chops in the Chicagoland area. Very gracious people. Nothing in this neighborhood can match this dining experience.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the greater Chicagoland area. The food and service are great. You will not be disappointed

Great atmosphere, food was very good, starting with appetizers, Grouper was delicious. Services was great, Daniela our server was amazing. We felt very special at the restaurant , manager Victorio stoped at the table few times to check if we need anything . Highly recommend .

We were excited to see the vibrant holiday atmosphere. We hung out at the bar for a few drinks, and they didn't have Creme de cacao. OK, I ordered something else. The waitress was lovely but would fly buy and take a drink order for only some people at the table, while we were calling after her to get the entire order. The appetizers (West Coast Oysters and Shrimp Polenta) were outstanding. The bread was great. The Mains (pan seared Grouper and Spaghetti Negri) were inedible. Both were really really bad. I ate what I could and ordered a side of fries for the table so we had something that was decent. Ordered Hazelnut Cheesecake because we were still hungry. That was good. With the tip, the bill was $400. For great appetizers, French fries, dessert about about 5 drinks ... in terms of what was good. The Main Courses were horrible. I can't state that enough.
