Lucia Beverley is located down a beautiful floral alley just a stone's throw from the popular market town's bustling Saturday market. The elegant two-storey restaurant features sumptuous interiors as well as a beautiful and cosy heated outdoor courtyard. It serves a modern Italian all day menu seven days a week from 12-10pm, with weekend brunch served from 9 -1130am Friday to Sunday.

    The positive from this visit, is that the Misto di Carne pizza was fabulous - one of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. The seafood linguini however, was just that - linguini with some seafood. No sauce, no seasoning, no flavour. The calamari rings still had the membranes on them. The seafood didn’t taste fresh, but had the watery texture of frozen. For £20 a portion we were expecting much more. The food took a long time to appear. Once our main was eaten a different server than we had earlier came over and told us that there was only 15 minutes left on our table booking so if we wanted dessert or coffee we would have to move to the bar area. (The very small print on the booking confirmation when I looked later did say 2 people only had 1.5 hours). We declined and asked for the bill, we didn’t feel very welcome at this point. The bill arrived with a “discretionary cover charge”. We would normally tip in a restaurant, but resent being told how much and didn’t feel the experience was worth it, so didn’t leave it. £6.50 for a pint of lager, with a tonic water, a basket of bread , 2 mains and a salad adding up to £60 and then being told we couldn’t have dessert at our table because it had taken so long to get our main course wasn’t great. The restaurant wasn’t exceptionally busy at 5.45pm and we ordered quite quickly. The hour and a half would normally be acceptable for a fast chain pizza restaurant, but we thought Lucia’s would have been more than that. A disappointing experience.

    Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was amazing. Enjoyed our visit and will return.

    The food was terrible. The Sunday sharing board is no where near £55 worth - 1 roast potato, 1 carrot and 1 parsnip each. The chicken was the driest meat I've ever eaten. We got given one small jug of gravy each, when asked for more it came when people were finished there food. The requested apple sauce never came. The server requested the manager as we had not eaten our food, the manager refused to come over leaving it to the flustered server. Overall a not so good experience, wouldn't bother with the Sunday sharing platter, total rip off!!

    Started off very badly as a single parent with a child was seated next to 10 rowdy men, felt intimidated and they were swearing. I did complain and was moved. Food was nice. Bill was wrong and had to ask them to correct it. Overall not as good as previous visits

    The services were really good. But the food is not worth the money. Especially the pork belly. You pay almost £12 for 2 small pieces of pork!! But. Overall I am happy with the service and will visit again.

    We always dine at Lucia when shopping in Beverly, the food is amazing, we have tried other places but nothing compares to eating here.

    We haven’t been for quite a while but everything was good. The lady who served us is so pleasant & can’t do enough to make sure everything is fine. The food excellent as always.

    Very good food quick service lovely staff we always eat here when we're in beverly always say we should try new places but lucias is the best
