Asian small plate classics, Robata grills, sushi and sashimi are exquisitely crafted in the open kitchen and signature raw carve bar. Each dish is designed to be shared socially at the centre of the table and accompany signature drinks, music and conversation.

Lucky Cat is inspired by Tokyo’s 1930s kissas and Shanghai drinking dens. These nocturnal music clubs became the playground of the urban youth seeking all things extravagant, new and cutting edge: illegal jazz music, late night banned dancing, rare whiskeys and indulgent street food.

We were looking for an experience for a special event and we got it. We tried the Taste of Lucky cat and loved everything. We shared the 3 options of the third course, so we tasted everything on the menu. Food was abundant. A great night to remember.

Jasmine was amazing, one of the best services I’ve had in Miami! Lucky Cat Chefs table was so worth the visit, so accommodating, (I don’t eat fish and they changed the whole menu). Couldn’t recommend it more!

We’ve never done anything like this before & it was everything we wanted!! Amazing experience, delicious food, & appealing setting. The server really made the whole experience better with his knowledge & presentation of restaurant, dishes, etc. Went on a slow day so it was a very relaxing environment which made it even better. Definitely a 20/10 recommend!

Wonderful new-ish restaurant in the best section of South Beach. Ambiance is gorgeous! Staff is perfect. Food is out of this world in taste and presentation.

Our waiter John was the star of the show, but everything else was extremely underwhelming. Food was very poor. Does not live up to Gordon Ramsey’s other restaurants. Would not recommend.

Only giving the overall rating 3 stars because of the staff. I had high hopes for Lucky Cat, especially since it’s a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and chose it to celebrate my birthday on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to my expectations. We opted for the Signature menu (a 4-course option), and while a few dishes stood out—the Duck Bao Buns we ordered beforehand, the Salmon Roll, and the Tamarind Cake dessert—everything else fell short. The main course was the biggest disappointment. We both ordered the rib eye, cooked medium well, but the outside was completely charred, and that overwhelming burnt flavor ruined the dish. We requested a replacement and chose the baby chicken, but it wasn’t any better. The sauce underneath was broken and watery, and the chicken itself lacked flavor aside from the same overly charred taste. As it was my birthday celebration/New Years Eve, I was embarrassed to admit I wasn’t enjoying the food, but my husband eventually spoke up. Our waitress, however, was fantastic—she was kind, understanding, and did her best to help us navigate the situation. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, it didn’t change the fact that we paid over $300 for a meal that didn’t meet even basic expectations for flavor and quality. I really wanted to love this place, but it just didn’t deliver on what I’d hoped would be a special evening.

We dined at Lucky Cat for New Years Eve and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious, the service was very attentive and the restaurant ambiance was beautiful. We will definitely be back soon.
