Staff amazing. Food was excellent. I was both surprised and impressed with this lovely small-town, beautiful restaurant.

Out of town visitor celebrating my wife’s birthday, wasn’t fairly impressed. Other than the food being above average there wasn’t much going on. Service wasn’t good, staff was way to relaxed and not productive. Expectations were not met for this customer, like I said food was above average but price to plate ratio eh feel like I’m not getting complete moneys worth but that was my opinion.

Our family stayed at Hotel Lulu for the weekend in mid-May, and it was our first time to visit Round Top. We decided to have Sunday brunch at Lulus. It wasn't a busy weekend, but we made reservations through OpenTable via the link on Lulu’s website anyway, though it may not always be necessary if you get there early or call ahead. The setting and ambiance in the historic building was amazing. All the staff were very attentive and polite. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere for a relaxing, conversation and a hearty meal together with family was wonderful. We had the Steak and Eggs and Braised Short Ribs which both were very delicious and filling. I will say that options for a diabetic or those that consume low carbs, no carbs or no starches and would prefer a green vegetable with their brunch, lunch or dinner may have limited options. So, if there are dietary concerns related to a health condition you will need to plan your meal choices ahead of time. The Bombolini aka Bomboloni Italian Donuts dusted with sugar were freshly made to order and were the perfect end to a great meal.

We enjoyed our salad and our cocktails but our other food was mediocre at best. Pizza was on a pre made crust and very average. Our pasta dish was very bland and not at all what we were expecting. Very disappointed in the food quality for the price. I wouldn’t bother eating here again.

Very nice hidden get away. We really enjoyed our stay and the scent of Jasmine on our walks around the hotel. Very comfortable rooms with great shower. Restaurant staff were very efficient.

We had a wonderful Mothers Day brunch here. It was so nice to find a restaurant taking reservations that day, and we were all impressed with the food and the service.
