    Great atmosphere and we were warmly welcomed. We had asked for a quiet table and that’s exactly what we got. Wonderful prawn cocktail with really nice sea food sauce which didn’t swamp the prawns and lettuce. It was served in a tall glass but it was very difficult to eat with a long knickerbocker glory type spoon and with no fork!! We both ordered the shoulder of lamb which was lovey. The sprout top greens would have been lovely had they been cooked more. I couldn’t eat them!!..The other vegetables were lovely. However the whole meal would have been so much better if it had been served on hot plates. The plates were cold and by the time they reached our table everything including the lamb was cooling off!!…Having said that we like the Lassmann Resteraunt’s very much having visited Hertford and StAlbans and had a lovely experience..what’s good is that the Woburn resteraunt is the closest to where we live so we will be returning to Woburn on a regular basis..

    Our first visit to Woburn, we have had one meal at St.Albans. We were warmly welcomed in an open and relaxed manner which I particularly appreciated. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I love the ethos and our food was of high quality and delicious. We will definitely visit again!

    First time in a Lussmans and loved everything about it! Staff were above and beyond just like the food! A delightful experience that e will definitely be repeating!

    Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was ok but expensive considering you have to add sides to the main meal. Two of ordered Duck mine was lovely but the other guests was over cooked and salty. The carbs sides to choice from didn't go with duck. There was salsa Verde mash or chips! Neither go with Duck. We ended up chips as don't like spicy mash. We also had 2 sides of seasonal veg. One dish came up with lots of carrot the other hardly had any and the courgette wasn't cooked well. The puddings were OK but nothing special. The meal came to over £200 for 4 of us and this felt expensive for what we had. The atmosphere was rather lacking too. There were a few christmas decorations but no lights on the tree and it just lacked a Christmas feel. Music crackled through the speakers and was just an annoying noise. Won't be recommending it or rushing back. Shame as have been to other Lussmanns and had great meals.

    I enjoyed the meal, the haddock was soft and buttery, however, despite a generous serving of sauce, personally, I found the kale potato cake lacking in kale and seasoning and the potatoes slightly undercooked and dry. The winter berry cheesecake was sublime Attentive and friendly staff

    Service was excellent waitesss very attentive but not intrusive , beautiful surroundings very relaxed. Whole experience was lovely will definitely be going back can’t wait to take friends. I had the chicken with pasta so so tasty. Prawn cocktail A bit plain if I’m honest think it needs something more. That’s it though. Lovely night. As Arnie likes to say “I’ll be back”)

    Very nice overall only gripe was the 12.5% service charge which was automatically added. Wherever we go we like to decide how much tip we want to leave and not be told by it being added to the bill. Of course it’s not law so it was removed from the bill and we left what we wanted. It annoys me that service charges are added at all because without service there would be no customers in the first place, it’s just another way to money grab. Of course this isn’t just Lussmans but a lot of these types of restaurants.

    Thank you Sarah Delighted to hear, that said the tip is not another "money grab" The new law makes sure that all tips go to all restaurant staff. That said nothing new here as we have done this since 2002 when we started. The optional tip is then shared via a process of fairness otherwise our waiters woudl be earning 60k a year if not managed and that seems too much. Appreciate the support for Lussmanns.     Always good to dine at a newly opened restaurant and we were quick to try Lussmanns newly opened in Woburn We enjoyed the evening. Service was sharp and on point. Staff friendly and informative but not intrusive. Food extremely good and a small but interesting menu across all courses. We will be returning soon

    A great place to eat. And although I wouldn't normally complain about rapid service, we felt we were hurried through the meal and it was clear we were expected to leave 20 minutes before our allotted 2 hours was up. Nevertheless I would recommend this place.
