Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old-school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere. On Fridays there will be a £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley. From 3 November, Lutyens Grill will open on Sundays with our unlimited prime rib set menu accompanied with all the roast dinner trimmings.
Please be advised bookings are for dinner guest only. Pets, other than registered guide dogs, are not permitted in any public area or restaurant at The Ned. Children are welcome in the restaurant until 8pm Monday-Saturday. We will try to accommodate pushchairs, but please be aware there may not be space at the table. Please note The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead of or upon arrival.

Posto carino e riservato. Ottima accoglienza e servizio. Piatti molto buoni e curati. Sicuramente da consigliare.

As I had worked in the building when it was a bank, 25 years ago, I was keen to return and visit for dinner. We went to the Lutyens Grill, which is a smart restaurant that was formerly the Branch Manager's office. It was noticeabley less noisy than the open areas, which was good. The service was professional but friendly. All our courses were very good. We loved the mushroom tart and prawn cocktail. The steaks were amazing. The cocktail and mocktail that we had were interesting and delicious. It was an expensive evening but well worth it for a special treat.

Firstly the steak was superb. Hardly the most difficult dish of course but cooked to perfection. The restaurant and ambience is beautiful, warm and comfortable, oldie worldie in style and intimate without being so close to other tables you feel like you're dining with them. Service however leaves a bit to desired. Hold my hands up entirely, my guest ran into some problems and was an hour late. Which meant I was sat at the table waiting, still ordering drinks and a bottle of wine but having to hold off on ordering food. They told me twice that they would need the table back at 2.15 (it was a 12.15 sitting). When my guest showed up they also told him they would need the table back within the hour and to just order mains. I understand this from a restaurants perpective, however at the same time I've booked many lunches and have never been so rushed with zero leeway or understanding for the circumstances. Add to that the 15% s/c. Definitely won't be rushing back

Another thoroughly enjoyable meal at the Lutyens Grill. Superb service and great food.

Lovely atmosphere, wonderful food, super waiter explained what was in the dishes, will be going back there. Can't find anything to fault.

Fantastic food and first class service, all in the spectacular surroundings of The Ned. £100 a head may seem expensive, but considering the quality and quantity of food you get it’s perfectly reasonable - try getting lobster, as much prime rib as you like and dessert in central London for less!!

It was my second visit to Lutyens in the Ned, near Bank Station. It was packed, but service remained at a high standard, and the food was excellent. They do a Beef Wellington that's certainly the best I've tasted. It's only available Monday to Thursday, by the way. They have a huge wine list, something to suit all tastes and budgets.

What a fabulous way to kick off the festive season. Amazing food and atmosphere and super friendly service. The lady singing was fantastic too.
