Delve into a special menu highlight showcasing the rich flavours of Italy with a selection of signature pasta dishes, curated by our Michelin-trained head chef, Salvatore Rizzato, from Rome, Italy. This unique collaboration skillfully blends tastes from his homeland with a Queensland inspired twist, expertly prepared by our passionate chefs at Lyrebird under his guidance.

For matinee goers, you can enjoy a delicious touch of elegance with a handcrafted Lyrebird High Tea, before your show. $25 per person or $30 per person including a glass of bubbles. Available only for select matinee shows.

Lyrebird is the perfect place to complement your QPAC experience. It takes the stress out of arriving late, whilst relaxing with a glass of bubbles and delicious high tea. The food, ambience and staff are all exceptional. You never feel rushed and can arrive stress free ready for the ballet/concert/show next door. We always book here beforehand and look forward to continuing our tradition.

I love Lyrebird ambience and last night ‘s service was excellent . However , the Italian menu is not matched with good , authentic Italian cooking . Why use matured cheese when you could be using parmigiano reggiano? Cooking just not up to standard for an upmarket eatery .

Food was fabulous and we were in and out within 90 mins so we could get to the show. Service was lovely.

Service is always professional & prompt. Glass of Bird in Hand & oysters to share as a starter were excellent. Sadly the set menu special is no longer available, so it was not such good value.

Very disappointed that main course took way longer to arrive than should have … especially when the wait staff assured us that will have us out in time for the show. Had to follow up to where our meals were … ended up leaving food and gulping down our wine. A $200 disappointment.

Have been to this restaurant many times - the place to get a nice meal at QPAC before a show. Menu was previously fairly small with not too many choices which allowed them to promptly serve good food. Menu is now more complex and the food service was slow. We were only having two courses, but still the main meal only came out 10 minutes before show time. Made for a stressful and less enjoyable experience. They were clearly struggling as the main meals came out well before the sides - and the waiter got quite upset (bordering on rude) when we sent the sides back as we had almost finished our meal.

Delicious food as always and the service was so friendly and efficient to get us to our performance with time to spare. Beautiful experience.
