In the heart of Marietta Square, Mac's Chophouse is a modern-vintage revival of the classic American steakhouse. Our menu highlights a thoughtful approach to locally-sourced ingredients and hearty, flavor-rich cuisine. We distinctly pair choice cuts of USDA Prime steak, sustainable seafood, and decadent desserts with a highly-curated bar program of craft cocktails, premium reserve wines, and an extensive bourbon selection.                 Very nice place. I’ve dined here a number of times. Excellent service & nice atmosphere. The food can sometimes be inconsistent, meaning over or under or not completely warmed as with lunch today the crab cake looked great, but cold on the inside. Soup can sometimes be below temperature. Lastly, it is very expensive for what is provided. Drinks are tightly poured…

                I’d say management just doesn’t get it. Very glad Mac’s is thriving during the holidays, but STAFF FOR IT !!! the revenue from my table alone would have paid for an extra bar-tender. Hard to sell drinks when you can’t deliver in 30 minutes.

                This was our second time but with reservations. We were excited to go for our wedding anniversary and sit upstairs in the “reserved” area. I had put it was our anniversary in the open table reservation and asked for booth or a private table. The first time we went our server was fantastic, asked about allergies (I have gluten and egg), explained the menu in detail, answered questions, let us know about steak cuts, and drinks. 10/10. We were very excited to drive across town and even skipped our normal anniversary spot for this one. However, as soon as this server showed up the vibe was off. We didn’t get a happy anniversary card like everyone else that night. We were treated like we didn’t belong by our server. I am an observer, and the way other tables were treated around us by the same server was completely different. He was friendly, open, talkative, interactive with every other table. Again, with us it was like we were a problem and didn’t belong. It was extremely loud, we could barely hear each other. The tables were almost on top of each other. I would have rather been downstairs at a booth like I had requested. My husband’s drink was wrong, he wanted the regular old fashioned but he got the smoked one which he does not like. The server didn’t try to explain the drinks to us. We were brought a free dessert but unfortunately since no one asked about my allergies, I couldn’t eat it. My husband came specifically for the bread pudding, which he enjoyed. We will not be coming back. It was a miserable experience for a wedding anniversary dinner and if someone is looking for a romantic, swanky, classy, upscale ambiance this is not it. I wish we had our first server.

                Even though there was delay in getting seated , they compensated it with free appetizers and great service . Food was amazing !

                Birthday dinner with friends. Great service and food was delicious. Sat upstairs and enjoyed the veiw.

                The steak and sea bass were very tasty but the creamed potatoes and asparagus were warm at best. Service was very good but the noise level is quite high.

                As always, Mac's does not disappoint. Took one of my longstanding volunteers to lunch to thank her for her years of service and she could not stop raving about her meal. She was absolutely thrilled and very grateful for being "treated" at such a "lovely establishment." Thank you, Mac's for giving her an extra special day!
