   Food was pretty good but restaurant was very understaffed which led to very slow service (3 hrs for a table of 6). Challenging to get server’s attention and multiple times brought wrong items to the table. Although we swiped all of our credit cards to pay at the end of the meal, restaurant called me 10 minutes after we left telling me that the charges didn’t go through and that I needed to come back to pay. This left a significant distaste in my mouth and I will not go back. If they solve their service issues, maybe others will have a better experience than our table did.

   Place is small, patio open on good season and food is really Mexican not Tex-Mex. Plates are large if you are not used to big meals. Drinks are really exotic. Reservations are suggested because when it’s busy limited sitting is available.

   Second trip and food does not disappoint. Nice menu selection, Mole is wonderful. Desserts are amazing. Servers are accommodating and so helpful. Love the place. Only complaint is seating … both times. First time I made indoor reservations for 8 people and even called and confirmed. But upon arrival was told only outdoor seats were available. Talked them into letter group sit inside with the promise we would move if needed. Didn’t have to move. This time, made reservations for 2 at 6pm. Upon arrival, no one was seated at any tables. Hostess took us to worst table. I requested a better table and was moved without hesitation, but felt strange being asked to sit at the worst table, with reservations and no one sitting at any tables. Hosting process needs work.

   Had a great time and loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The corn on the cob was so good and had a very nice sauce on it. The horchata was also very good and it wasn’t too sweet. My main dish was the tacos de birria which had a hint of sweetness in the sauce, but I’d give it a 8/10. For dessert I tried the churros and they were extremely good.

   Came here for a lunch date and we had a great time here. The food is good, the staff is very nice and helpful. They are always around and ready to answer any questions you may have about the menu. ⭐️

    The drinks and food are not of great quality as they seem. The drinks are warm and not completely mixed. Everything is overpriced and does not match the quality of the food. In my opinion, it isn’t worth going again.
