Second trip and food does not disappoint. Nice menu selection, Mole is wonderful. Desserts are amazing. Servers are accommodating and so helpful. Love the place. Only complaint is seating … both times. First time I made indoor reservations for 8 people and even called and confirmed. But upon arrival was told only outdoor seats were available. Talked them into letter group sit inside with the promise we would move if needed. Didn’t have to move. This time, made reservations for 2 at 6pm. Upon arrival, no one was seated at any tables. Hostess took us to worst table. I requested a better table and was moved without hesitation, but felt strange being asked to sit at the worst table, with reservations and no one sitting at any tables. Hosting process needs work.

Had a great time and loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The corn on the cob was so good and had a very nice sauce on it. The horchata was also very good and it wasn’t too sweet. My main dish was the tacos de birria which had a hint of sweetness in the sauce, but I’d give it a 8/10. For dessert I tried the churros and they were extremely good.

Came here for a lunch date and we had a great time here. The food is good, the staff is very nice and helpful. They are always around and ready to answer any questions you may have about the menu. ⭐️

The drinks and food are not of great quality as they seem. The drinks are warm and not completely mixed. Everything is overpriced and does not match the quality of the food. In my opinion, it isn’t worth going again.

Enjoyed the authenticity of offerings including enmoladas, adobo de puerco. Enjoyed the margarita clásica and la bruja drinks. Brandon did a great job serving.

Consistently good food. I dine at Maderas frequently and while service is usually a little lax but friendly, the service at brunch was very inattentive. When I arrived the waiter acknowledged my reservation for 10 for my father’s 91st birthday and said he had our table set up and ready - the table was disheveled and poorly setup. I had a feeling that was a precursor of what was to come in terms of service… and as I write this, I just realized they did nothing to acknowledge his birthday. I really wanted him to try the churros (because they’re the best) but I think the service was so slow and inattentive that everyone was just ready to go, unfortunately.

I come here each time I come to Houston. Food is highly flavorful and the cocktails are excellent and innovative. Servers are kind and good people. Vibe varies depending on how full the place is. I always feel welcome as a solo diner.

We weren’t really taken care of which is understandable our waiter had a bunch of tables . Then a big table came in and our waiter completely disappeared and we had some other person take care of us . We were there for a birthday and I just was let down with our experience of the service.
