I thoroughly enjoyed my date at Madre Selva, the ceviche is top tier. The cocktails were amazing. My only gripe would be the cost I understand the cuisine is authentic Peruvian but some of the dishes are better as starters than main courses in my opinion. It’s a wonderful place but I can’t help but feel that I left hungry. My server was amazing!!

I had a reservation for my partners birthday - when we were greeted at the host stand and were sat the hostess told us “just so you know there’s a 1.5 hour maximum for your stay”…super strange and not a great thing to say right at the jump lol. Then, 3 dishes we didn’t order came to our table, one of which had tree nuts, and my partner had a tree nut allergy (and this was told to the host, the server, and noted on our Open Table booking). The music is so loud you can’t hear your company in conversation. I will say the ceviche was yummy. However, when we were paying for our bill, the server didn’t show us the cost breakdown and our bill was $95 (for 2 items). I told her this didn’t look right but she said it was right and took my card and scanned it. I asked for the receipt, and they charged the items that came to our table accidentally - and we didn’t even eat them. The staff wasn’t very friendly or apologetic in correcting this error/refunding me or offering a free desert or something (also since it was a birthday celebration- didn’t even get a desert menu or anything?) and then to top it all off parking isn’t validated! Really really bad experience for what I was expecting and what I paid for…

Atlanta has really needed an upscale Peruvian restaurant. Madre Selva is beautifully designed and the location is great. Easy to park and I can only imagine how nice it will be in the spring when they open the patio. The food presentation was impressive and the flavor and options presented in each dish did not disappoint. The management and staff were very attentive and provided a warm atmosphere to our experience. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Amazing experience!!! Finally a good Peruvian restaurant in Atlanta that has balances a great food with amazing ambience, decor and the best staff. Although they are in soft openning, Juan Segura (owner) and their attentive staff (Maya was a phenomenal waiter and Nico the Spanish and French speaking bartender) made our night memorable and enjoyable. In our mind we are hopeful it becomes a staple for our dine out shared experiences with friends.

Amazing new restaurant! Music and vibes amazing and food was absolutely incredible. Unique cocktail menu. Highly recommend the scallops as an appetizer.

An Unforgettable Dining Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment I walked into Madre Selva, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly attentive without being overbearing. Now, the food—absolutely incredible! We started with the causas yucas and ceviches For main course, We chose the Lomo saltado and chaufa and was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the presentation was stunning. Don’t even get me started on dessert—picarones and the chocolate cake was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fantastic meal, madre selva is the place to be. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu! Malu

As a local Peruvian, I found the restaurant nice overall. The ceviche was the standout for me, especially with the addition of aji limo, which added great flavor. However, there’s room for improvement in other dishes. The lomo saltado was a bit too salty, and the causa lacked the vibrant kick of aji amarillo. The picarones were decent, though not exceptional. On the plus side, the cocktails were excellent, and I absolutely loved the pisco sour!

Service was unbelievable and attentive. Ambience was unique and had so much to stimulate the senses. The food was fresh and indigenous to Peru with modern fusions along with a mixture of cultural flavors! Great addition to Atlanta!
