                                                                                We had a great time. Our server, Gerrick, was excellent. We were a party of 4 and for the first time tried the family style experience. It was wonderful. I recommend it.

                                                                                We had a 1:00 pm reservation for 5 for Easter lunch. Server did an excellent job asking about food allergies (nut allergy for 1 noted on the reservation). Because there were multiple servers who put the plates down, no one noticed I was without mine. The server assured us it would be out shortly. I assured everyone at the table I was fine and to eat theirs while their plates were hot. Everyone at the table was DONE with the meal, when mine arrived. During the wait time, two more staff members, one was a manager, stopped by the table. When everyone else got their 'to go' boxes, my meal was served. None of this was egregious, mistakes happen. The hardest part was everyone was uncomfortable with how incredibly long the wait was. The manager comped my meal plus gave us two desserts, which was adequate and appreciated. I'd say use this as a training opportunity to ask staff to notice when someone is missing a meal if multiple servers are putting plates down. We always enjoy Maggiano's and will not let one experience deter us from returning.

                                                                                I made reservations 2 weeks in advance for a table for 5 adults and they gave me a table for 3. I complained but no one cared. We ordered the family style dinner and it was dog food.

                                                                                Despite being a large and busy restaurant our experience was terrific. Our server was super, and the chef came out to speak to my wife about her fish allergy. These folks seemed to really care about the patrons of their restaurant. Everything from being seated through an after dinner tea and espresso was terrific, and the value outstanding. Highly recommend Maggian’s Durham for a great casual meal.

                                                                                I’ve been to Maggiano’s once before this time and I was taken aback by the service I received. My waiter never showed up “apparently”, we had reservations at 6:15pm. We didn’t receive any water or anything til about 6:40-6:45ish the service was incredibly slow but the food was amazing the waiter we did receive was amazing as well maybe it was just that evening but i was a lil disappointed.
