Our recent visit to Maggiano’s was a mix of highs and lows, but overall, it was a good experience. To start, they were out of soup, which isn’t a big deal, but the way the server explained it was a bit odd. They said, “Sorry, we close in an hour, so we’re out of soup.” It felt strange since we made a reservation through OpenTable, and they had availability for another hour. If the kitchen stays open for reservations until closing, why not just say, “We’re out of soup”? It’s a small thing, but it gave the wrong impression about service toward the end of the day. Now, onto the food: •Bread and Drinks: The bread was decent—warm with a nice crunch—but the butter was basic, cold, and pre-wrapped. Drinks (soda, apple juice, and lemonade) were good, no complaints there. •Kids’ Meals: The kids’ pizza was super cheesy, which is perfect if your little one loves cheese. The mac and cheese was a standout—it was creamy, made with white cheese, and so good I ended up eating half of my kid’s portion! •Entrées: The ribeye steak was absolutely phenomenal. It was char-grilled, tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, it’s one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes were decadent, buttery, and smooth—a great complement to the steak. The asparagus, however, was a bit too crunchy for my taste. It had good flavor, but I kept wishing it was more tender, like it was during my last visit when it practically melted in my mouth. Service-wise, things were mostly fine. We waited about three minutes for a soda refill—not a huge deal but noticeable. The server was polite, but the overall experience felt a bit rushed, likely due to it being later in the evening. For dessert, the ice cream that came with the kids’ meal was super creamy and a nice finishing touch. Final Thoughts Maggiano’s delivers high-quality food, especially the ribeye and kids’ mac and cheese. However come earlier.

We had reservations. We were seated pretty quickly. The service fell apart at the table. We finally were served bread 20 minutes after being seated. We had to ask repeatedly for the bread we were not impressed with the service. It was not that busy however, my server’s defense it appeared that he had more than one section. We left a wonderful hefty tip. We will definitely be back. The food is great. We just hope next time service is a little better.

We arrived for our reservation to find that Maggiano's had removed the meat sauce for the pasta dishes from the menu, which was our favorite around. The other menu choices were ok, but nothing to come back for. There are a lot of other Italian restaurants around that are much better. My husband loved this place and met here regularly with his friends for business and various other occasions. No more. We expressed our displeasure to Edith, the Mgr, who was very nice and took the time to explain many upcoming changes to Maggiano's. We won't be there to see them. Change can be good, but keep the staples that keep people coming back.

The food was good, service a little slow. We sat in bar section for happy hour. It was 5:30 and the girl said no happy hour. When I told her time she said oh. We had to ask 2 times for happy hour menu.

We went for Thanksgiving. The food and Service were excellent. We will come again during regular menu. The chocolate layer cake was absolutely delicious!

Nothing about this place feels like a "chain restaurant". Maggiano's in every way embodies specialty dining. We were torn on a couple meal decisions and deferred to our waiter, Nathan, to help with his suggestions. The man knew his menu and didn't disappoint! Nathan's suggestion of the Zucchini Fritte with Lemon Aioli set a high bar for the rest of the meal. It was amazing. Crunchy, flavorful and just...wow. my salmon was perfectly done, very flaky and not even a teensy bit dry. My son had the Maggiano's Chef KBs Lobster Carbonera and the flavors were incredible. Sugar peas were so crunchy and fresh and they didn't skip on the pics of lobster in the dish. Finally, my husband tried a new addition to the menu, Riserva Veal Parmesan, also suggested by Nathan. My husband swears it was the best veal parm he's ever had. While the portions were huge and we came home with leftovers, we also took dessert to go. The Butter Cake is so yummy. We'll be returning often for the food, atmosphere and Nathan!

The service was great. But so disappointed in the Chicken Francese. It is NOT the same. It is just chicken breast with a tiny bit of sear. Not thin and breaded like it used to be. Also the bread has been changed. Not good at all! I don’t know if I’ll be back anymore. It’s a shame as I always looked forward to this meal.
