                                                                                        My husband and I ate breakfast at Magnolia Table this morning. We found the staff extremely friendly and courteous from the time we checked in until the time we paid our bill. The restaurant is clean and open and bright which I love. The food was great! I had Eggs Benedict, which were so delicious. Since we don’t live too far from Magnolia Table, we will definitely be back.

                                                                                        Hype was greater than the experience. I do love that the venue is in a historic building. That was cool! Food is typical american cafe. No presentation. Interior is set up much like a cafeteria to get as many people in as possible. I guess I expected more ambience related to how Chip and Joanna live and decorate. This was completely missing.

                                                                                        Having followed the renovation,vor many years and also of course Chip and Jo, I really enjoyed being in their space. There were lots of opportunities for joining in with other people and conversation but we were seated in the rear dining room which we really enjoyed because we wanted a quiet atmosphere. It was perfect. The space bordered an outdoor space that was not in use because it was winter. There was lots of natural light, the service was on point, attentive, friendly and genuine. We had the stack of "onion donuts" which we loved and the ranch dressing. Then, we had each a smashburger but we couldn't finish our meal and we each took half of our Burger home with us for later, it was great. It was good being in the space, enjoying the fellowship, great service in the elegant but casual atmosphere. Well done Chip and Jo and well done to the staff who carries their vision forward.

                                                                                        Delicious! What a lovely post-Christmas breakfast for our family of six. Our waiter Angel was very welcoming and informative. Don’t miss the biscuits and strawberry butter. If you can’t decide between bacon or sausage, you can have one of each when ordering the Farm breakfast. We followed up breakfast with a visit to the Silos.

                                                                                        Our party was 9. Received our coffees and teas in a reasonable time. The cake batter donut holes were a great start. The main course breakfasts served were outstanding. The scrambled eggs looked way more than two eggs. The sausage and peppered bacon were excellent. The cinnamon toll pancakes were the best I’ve ever eaten. Glad our family had this experience to close out our Christmas celebration.
