                                                                                        Lived up to my bucket list expectations!! Worth the side trip to Waco for the whole Magnolia experience. The food, ambiance and service were all five star.

                                                                                        Emily was our server - excellent and the best server we’ve had in Waco. Food was very good, love the salad and vegetarian options. Don’t change those onion rings or Brussels spouts! Delicious. My only feedback is I brooked through open door a 630 reservation and I was told when we checked in at 525 that they had to wait for a table to be available, it wasn’t a bad wait, but we waited until 640 and we passed 4 open tables to get to ours. I don’t understand that. We enjoyed our dinner! Yes! Finally dinner available!

                                                                                        We have been there many times for brunch and lunch and we were excited about trying the dinner menu. We both ordered the chicken with greens and mashed potato. The chickens and potato servings were very small and just ok. We were given a very large portion of the greens that were just terrible. We complained and were give a choice of a different side and chose the sweet potato - again small but very tasty. Our server was amazing! We will definitely be back for breakfast or lunch but not dinner.

                                                                                        Was so excited to visit since I hadn’t been here since it was the Elite Cafe back in my Baylor days. I ordered the pasta dish and it was like semi-cold chunky Alfredo sauce on pasta. Not an artichoke in site. Just gross. I ate 3 bites and waited about 30 mins before I could send it back. FYI I am not a picky eater AT ALL. Our waiter was very sweet and offered me another meal, even though my whole family was done eating. I ordered the smash burger. Took one bite into what looked delicious, only to have a very long hair wrapped in my teeth. I actually pulled it out still attached to a piece of the burger. Just gross. They took it off the bill and provided a free dessert to go, but I just cannot stomach going back.

You can really see the thoughtfulness behind all the design elements in order to create an inviting atmosphere. We had the seasonal Southern Style Benedict and the Farm Breakfast. I also had a cold brew. Everything was absolutely delicious and serving sizes were generous. Great value all around!
