Major Tom is elevated yet approachable, excellent and at ease, confident and gracious. The food, the room, and the service capture the sophistication and glamour of mid-century New York penthouse life, and you feel instantly at home. We maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect, and we do this while being down-to-earth, lively, playful, quirky, fun, and full of personality.

    Three course lunch was amazing. Cucumber salad to start with, then the beef dip tower, and then the chocolate Mille feuille for dessert. Barry took excellent care of us. Major Tom did not disappoint!

    I recently dined at Major Tom, and while the location is undeniably a big draw, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The music was great but overwhelmingly loud, making conversation difficult. For the high price point, I expected a more refined experience, especially considering that similar restaurants in Calgary offer better value. Service was underwhelming—no one came to clear the table between courses, and the bar service was noticeably slow. But the real shocker? The bathrooms. For a place that puts so much effort into its aesthetic, the washrooms were laughably dirty yet sterilely lit—like an office building bathroom, with harsh, bright white lighting that felt completely out of place. Honestly, Joey’s or Earls have better washrooms… and better service. Overall, Major Tom has its moments, but for the price, I expected more attention to detail and a more polished experience.

    The 40th Floor Calgary Dinning Experience. The food was exceptional and the drinks were excellent. You have to get the Major Tom Tots and the scallops were amazing.

    Spent nearly 500 dollars and when me and my girlfriend got home immediately both of us got sick out of nowhere. Puking up our anniversary dinner was not a great way to spend the night.

    First time dining at Major Tom tried the lunch featured on the YYC EXP. The service was fantastic Had a table at a window what an amazing view of the city. The food was very good it was flavorful and well presented. The Prime Rib Dip was good but more of a sandwich than a Dip. Looking forward to going back to try some other menu items
