                                                                    Wonderful friends gave us a gift card for Makawao Public House as we often raved about the wonderful meals we enjoyed there . As usual it didn’t disappoint. We tried the seared sashimi for the 1 st time and it was to die for . However you need to include a straw with the sauce so you can drink it all up as it is just phenomenal 😜 .Then we ordered the curry vegetables with grilled mahi and the short ribs , again it was cooked to perfection. Everything paired with a glass of Rose champagne and we had the best Valentine dinner . We had an early dinner reservations, so it was quiet , the waitress was lovely ,sweet and personable. We are so happy to have another restaurant choice upcountry. Mahalo

                                                                    Easy to make reservations on-line. Service was fast dinner was awesome for our first time eating there. Ceaser salad w/chicken good portions, Kalei braised boneless was great and our waitress Celeste was great too.

                                                                    Fantastic food - I feel like the food gets better every time I return. Our waiter, Benjamin was relaxed yet attentive, gave great menu recommendations. 🙌

                                                                    It was a lovely experience for my family of 3. We were near a lounging 2 couches where 2 small children were climbing and loisy but maybe happy hour dad and left before our food. We were served a lovely salad but no plates so after a bit my guys just jumped into it by passing it back and forth ;) loved our server and all food. Highly recommend!!

                                                                    The drinks were fantastic and our server was great Food was average. Would like to see more fish and vegetarian options so I would stay for dinner.
