                                                                    Celebrated our anniversary with our first visit to Makawao Public House. It was busy. It was loud. It was sometimes difficult to hear each other across our table. But that means everyone was having fun and enjoying themselves. We tried a bunch of appetizers then had main courses and a dessert. Everything was excellent! The chowder was sooo ‘ono and I can’t wait to have the ahi bites again! Food was amazing! The servers were busy but still attentive. We will definitely be returning again.

                                                                    As always, exceptional service with the most tasteful menu. Our server was attentive and personable, making the experience even more enjoyable. By far, one of the best restaurants on the island!

                                                                    Food was good, waiter was excellent but the noise level was really high. Because of that everyone talks louder which only adds to it. Not a reason to stay away unless you are looking for an intimate setting!

                                                                    A lively and welcoming pub in Makawao! The bar area is great and cocktails and beer just right..the food was excellent and the service fantastic. It’s loud but that’s because everyone is having a good time!

                                                                    Wonderful friends gave us a gift card for Makawao Public House as we often raved about the wonderful meals we enjoyed there . As usual it didn’t disappoint. We tried the seared sashimi for the 1 st time and it was to die for . However you need to include a straw with the sauce so you can drink it all up as it is just phenomenal 😜 .Then we ordered the curry vegetables with grilled mahi and the short ribs , again it was cooked to perfection. Everything paired with a glass of Rose champagne and we had the best Valentine dinner . We had an early dinner reservations, so it was quiet , the waitress was lovely ,sweet and personable. We are so happy to have another restaurant choice upcountry. Mahalo
