One of the best spots in Houston! The food was amazing, the service was prompt, and the staff were incredibly professional. It was both my husband's and my birthday, and we had a truly wonderful evening!

Came here on a date, and I honestly and truthfully we will probably not come back. Granted we were a bit late as there was no parking but when we came into the restaurant we stood at the hostess booth for 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged us. Server even passed us up without saying anything…so disrespectful. The food…it was very bland and my boyfriend ate his crispy garlic chicken because he was hungry but he didn’t care for it. It wasn’t crispy and was a bit on the soggy side. I ordered the seafood dish with vermicelli noodles and it was flavorless. On top of that the server barely came to our table to check on us, or even ask us if we liked the food. I really was excited to try this place, but they dropped the ball. Definitely do not recommend and will not be returning.

This is valuable feedback that will help us get better and ensuring our food and service remain consistence to our standard. I can assure that this is not the normal service at MaKiin and I can understand how frustrate it is if no one welcoming you at the door. We are short of Hostess that night but I am working on the way to ensure this is not happen again if same situation happen in future. The two dishes you were mentioning, is very popular! I would love you have you both come back again and give us a chance to make it right. Perhaps second date night! I promise we will not do everything to make you have great experience!

I went there for my birthday with some of my girlfriends and it was really amazing,The service was fantastic,The food was absolutely delicious and by God, the bartender poured those drinks strong lol

Beautiful interior, well thought through. We had pumpkin curry and drunken noodles and jasmine tea. Great taste! Wonderful caring waitress, we felt pampered.

Very nice server. No wait times at all. Place was super clean and cozy. I loved my experience. They really made my birthday special and the drinks and food were amazing. It was my first time there and I would 100% go again. 10/10 experience.

The service and food is consistent, and the cocktails are perfectly crafted and well balanced. This is one of my go to happy hour spots.

Had such a great birthday dinner experience. The restaurant had a DJ performing a set. Very zen & the food/drinks were amazing. Overall it was such an elevated experience without hurting your pockets. 10/10 recommend
