Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo vista mare (15$ in più a persona). L’ordinazione è andata bene, cameriere simpatico, il risotto alle capesanti stupendo. A un certo punto compare una blatta gigante che sale sul bordo finestra fino alla trave sopra di noi. Abbiamo chiamato il responsabile che ha cercato di ucciderla però è scappata prima sul nostro tavolo poi a terra. Abbiamo cambiato tavolo ma che vuoi mangiare più? Sono stai carini perché hanno fatto il 30% di sconto sul totale ma le blatte proprio NO

We were seated at a beautiful oceanside table where we had a gorgeous view of the sun setting over the island of Lanai. We ordered the whole fried opakapaka and it was outstanding! Moist and delicious, served over rice and stir-fried veggies. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive and we really enjoyed his company. He was nice enough to school us on what to do with the fish. All in all, a perfect evening. 🥰

Mala Tavern is a favorite! My friend was visiting me from Oregon and she was so happy they made it through the fire. We had a nice lunch with wonderful service and the best ocean view table! Many Mahalo's!

Great food and service! We were seated 1 table in from the door which created not the best ambiance. Would highly recommend eating here, though!

The food was quite gloppy. Cocktails are not good. We could not get our server’s attention for a glass of wine, so went up to the bar ourselves. Not a big deal, it was busy, but Mala just isn’t as good as previous years.
