Maple Tree Inn was awarded the very prestigious honor of being named in the Top 50 Southern Restaurants In America by OpenTable in 2018. We are proud to announce that the Maple Tree Inn has permanently relocated to Homewood, IL. We have maintained almost 100% of our staff and they have made the move with us.
We are still committed to the art of Cajun/Creole cooking & maintaining our status as the first and longest-running Cajun/Creole restaurant in Chicagoland. We are featuring a menu of our signature dishes including our Hickory Buttered BBQ Shrimp, Country Gumbo, Jambalaya, Crawfish Étouffée, and many more!     Menu is solid and hasn't changed much in years but that's not necessarily a bad thing Service is always top notch and prices are in the 25-45 range which seems about what you would expect Drink menu is limited and ok for the most part

    A wonderful meal from Start to finish . I love the Zombie and the seafood gumbo. Never had a bad meal there .

    Fantastic food & drinks. Never disappointed here. Gina was our friendly & fabulous server. Our table had a bit of everything but I’d definitely recommend the fire roasted brussel sprouts, redfish étouffée, blackened ribeye, & beignets. Generous servings of everything. The cocktails are excellent. Will return!

    Deviled oysters were salty this time around. Everything else delish, love the beet salad!

    Our server, Ross, and all staff were wonderful and provided us outstanding service. Our food (Pork Chop and Trout) were the very best and was absolutely delicious. Our dessert was the chocolate bundt and was scrumptious. Thank you for everything and providing us a wonderful evening at the Maple Tree.

    Wait staff very attentive, friendly and helpful. Drinks were really good, especially the Voodoo. Reservation was ready on time. Food was hot and fresh. I would recommend the Pit master gumbo, the fried chicken and the fried oysters. Very nice dining experience!!

    I’ve been dining at the Maple Tree Inn since they opened. My man and I have tasted at some point everything on the menu. That’s just it- their menu has not changed other than seasonal desserts. The fried green tomatoes have always been one of my favorite appetizers but it’s terribly disappointing to get 4 slices of a green regular sized tomato and now pay $1.00 more @ $17.00. They could have at least kept the large Beefsteak tomatoes. Overall it was pleasant. I understand the rationale of mastering your product. Within the last year the quality/quantity of our entrees have been inconsistent. I hope they consider adding a couple new items to their menu. I’m fine paying for a great dining experience, it’s becoming more of a last choice option. I live in the area and we’re not ready to completely give up on Maple Tree Inn.

    Excellent food, just unhappy with the amount of ice used in cocktails. You really only get ¼ worth of cocktail and the remaining is crushed ice..

    My experience at Maple Tree was wonderful! The valet who parked my car was friendly and accommodating and so was the hostess at check in. I had my meal at the bar and Emily was the bartender/server. She was extremely warm and friendly and offered excellent drink recommendations! Service was efficient but not rushed and the music and atmosphere made my experience even more enjoyable. I’m a vegan and I love that they offer a full vegan menu, from starters to dessert! I ordered the cornbread muffins, blackened mushrooms and grits and for dessert, cranberry apple crisp. Every morsel was delicious! Great energy and scrumptious food, I’d highly recommend!
