I was not impressed with this restaurant. The waitress seemed like she was in a hurry to close us out. Made early reservation to enjoy the drinks and food but they kept on asking if I wanted to pay out. The ribeye had no flavor by itself. If you don’t spread the sauce that it has on the side it would be so bland and disappointing. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Banana leaf Salmon was very overcooked. The shrimp and noodles didn’t taste fresh. The chicken tacos wee dry. And the hot queso was lumpy and difficult to eat.

Portions were very small. Food sub par at best and drinks were not good. Sadly I have no desire to go back.

With all the Latin places in Dallas this is a beautiful restaurant, but food is mid at best.

Took almost 45 minutes to get our drinks while other tables that showed way after us got theirs in like 10 minutes. The server was overall nice but also did not pay any attention to us and made my group feel like it was wrong for us to be there. There was someone at the next table to us that was actually PASSED OUT asleep the entire time we were there. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen lol. Such weird vibes and will not be returning

Mar Y Sol was an AMAZING experience. Highly recommend the tomahawk steak! It was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The atmosphere was amazing as well and so aesthetically pleasing.

This place was just wow!!! The food , the service , the ambiance everything was top notch !!! Highly recommend the picanha steak and pina colada creme brûlée

They don’t assign a waiter to you so “everyone can help”. So you get asked 4x the same questions by everyone working in the restaurant & cant even catch up w friends. Food is okay, but not worth the price. The dj music was so loud we were screaming across the table. For 3 people, apps & drinks $500. You can go anywhere in Dallas for those prices & have a much better experience.
