    We really enjoyed our lunch at The Marblehead Chowder House. We started with warm crb dip, vegetables and toast. It was wonderful. I wish that I had the recipe. We had various entrees from oysters to crab quiche to loaded salad. It was all very good, served in a nice atmosphere by a friendly and excellent server. We will be back, soon!

    Really good, tasty food. We were seated promptly and the waitress came to take our drink order soon afterwards.

    Marblehead continues to be one of our favorite restaurants. My wife had the Seafood Au Gratin and I had the filet mignon. Both dishes were very good. Robert, our server, is the consummate professional always attentive, pleasant but doesn't hover.

    Ww had a 6pm reservation. When we arrived the lobby was full of patrons and the hostess seemed flustered. After a few minutes she finally acknowledged us and checked us in. We were surprised we didn't have a long wait. We were seated in the lounge which we do like. Our server came right over and introduced herself and took our drink order and went over the specials for the evening. She returned about 5 minutes later and took our dinner order. We nothing had the crab cakes and they came with 2 sides. They were out within 15 minutes of ordering and were pipping hot. We both said they were delicious but have gotten noticeably smaller and had too much parsley. Hubby asked for cocktail sauce but the server forgot to bring it and never acknowledged that she forgot. There were only 2 servers for the lounge and they did seem overwhelmed but did a fantastic job

    Great casual dining, nice shore vibe, food was delicious. This was our first time , we will definitely be returning soon.

    Great seafood, attentive staff and nice ambience make this a great place for a date, special occasion or just to get some great food!
