Welcome to Marco's Kitchen, awarded the 2024 DiRona-Distinguished Restaurant of North America. Located in the heart of beautiful downtown La Grange. Travel back in time when dining out was a special occasion of delicious cuisine, unique libations, refined service, and wonderful company. Our intimate dining room offers crisp white linen, fresh flowers, rich colors, and warm lighting. Our ever-changing menu is a celebration of cuisine and beverages from many different parts of the world and is based on the travels of Chef Marco Conte. Our list of signature cocktails and mouth-watering desserts are all designed to tease and tantalize your palate.
Our goal is to create a dining room experience that is comfortable, elegant, and unique.

Welcome to Marco’s Kitchen where we bring you the world of fine International cuisine and libations. With over 48 years of cooking and restaurant experience, we aim to satisfy and tantalize your mind and palate. From Venice to Sorrento, from Paris to Barcelona and from Napa Valley to Puerto Vallarta…we’ll bring it all to you! Our menu is ever-changing as we continue to taste, experience and learn about the many different cooking ingredients and styles of cuisine the world has to offer. All of our dishes are made in-house and most are prepared to order. If you have any special request, please let us know and we’ll try our best to accommodate your tastes.                                 Great ambiance and intimate dining room and bar. Perfect for a celebration or date night. Dishes are well prepared and elegantly presented. It was our first visit and we will be back!

                                This was our first time at Marco's Kitchen and it was extremely good - the ambiance, drinks, food and service were fantastic. We'll definitely go back and will tell our friends and family about it.

                                The food is excellent with European influences. The soubisse (French onion soup a la Marco) was velvety and delicious. The sauces for the main courses had great depth of flavor. The duck was perfectly prepared and transported me back to dining experiences in Paris. The carrot cake was divine, beautifully displayedd with fresh fruit and finished off with a caramel sauce base that was to die for. The staff was attentive, friendly and very informed about the menu nuances.

                                A Wednesday early dinner reservation at 5:15 to celebrate a birthday. We had a nice table for two near the window, no one next to us for the first half hour. We shared the crab cake starter which has two nice-sized pieces. Bread and butter served along with the entrees. I loved the small serving of lamb chops with asparagus and roasted potatoes. The cherry chicken breast was moist and great cherry flavor, not sweet/syrupy. Since it was a birthday celebration, they did bring out a small serving of a creamy mousse and two nice lemon cookies. I also liked the fact that Marco’s has beer on tap as well as interesting drinks from the bar. Bill was slightly more than $60 per person, but worth it.

                                I don’t usually write reviews. Marco’s Kitchen is my favorite for so many reasons, but especially the quiet, ambiance and lack of felling rushed. Treat yourself!

                                The service, food, and atmosphere as always was outstanding. Two of us had the skate wing which was great, and our guests enjoyed the steak and prawns, everything was delicious.
