   It was very nice, the food and drinks were excellent. The view is always spectacular, looking at the water and all the beautiful yachts. Our servers Christina and Diego were professional and very nice. Anytime we have friends here in Sarasota we love to share Marina Jack’s.

   We walked in with high expectations as this came highly recommended - the supervisor was not happy to see us or pleasant, I had requested a window table and they tried to sit us as far away from the window as possible. Once we requested the window table again - we were moved closer, but not on the same level as the windows. We ordered drinks, mine was too strong and my dining companion's was very weak. The waited didn't understand when I asked for it over the rocks and brought me three ice cubes to go with the drink. We ordered appetizers, the first the octopus was good, the second the goat cheese was very disappointing, then we ordered the fra diablo muscles . While we were waiting for them the supervisor came to ask if we already had our entrees because she wanted our table for a party of 13. This was rude - and made us feel like they didn't want us there. She could have simply offered us a drink or a dessert if we would move and we would have. It took over 30 minutes for our muscles to arrive and they were cold. We tried to find our waiter to alert him of this, but he was no where to be found - luckily we found our helpful busboy who went to find him. We alerted him that the muscles were cold and we would like our bill so we could leave - he did apologize and then disappeared for another extended period of time. Once he finally brought our bill he disappeared again not allowing us to pay the bill. We finally left cash and walked out. It was a lovely view. I would suggest you save your money or try one of the other venues at Marina Jack, DO NOT go to the restaurant on the second floor - they clearly do not value their customers or want to make sure they have a good experience.

   we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was at Marina Jacks. As locals we always thought of it as a tourist spot, which it is , but the menu was quite good and the service with Lalthan was fantastic. He accomodated our food allergy and preferences with ease. The oysters from Virginia were fresh and briny. All our meals were very good and we are quite particular. Give it a try.

   This worked great for a last minute reservation, party of 7. The ambiance is lively and the view is great. I feel these factors justified the bulk of the cost. 5 of the people were under 20 years old and absolutely loved their meals. I think a foodie will be pickier about the proper temp and color of the filets. The service was very attentive and kind but uneducated on the ingredients in the food or even the cheeses on the charcuterie board. Overall, the setting was great, the food and service were average.

   Over priced menu items, not vegetarian friendly at all, lunch menu had a Quinoa bowl on lunch menu but since it was dinner I was told I could not have that item, after being told very rudely 3 times that it was impossible to get since its a lunch item, we asked the manager who asked the chef and they said they could do it! Wow so much fuss for a Quinoa bowl. service was not too attentive, with all the other restaurants in the area I do not think we will be back.

   Fresh seafood and crisp greens. Tasty dessert and refreshing cocktails. Can’t beat the view.

   The atmosphere and food were good but our waiter was a disappointment. He started off by saying he wouldn’t tell us the specials until we ordered drinks and appetizers?? Not sure why. We asked him to tell us the specials before we ordered and he begrudgingly did. He was condescending when a woman in our party asked about vegetarian options. He told her to order the charcuterie platter which had meat??? He seemed to cater to the men in the group when they asked for something when some women in the group had to ask more than once for something. He forgot to bring a salad that had been ordered by one of the women and said they were out of salads and the kitchen didn’t tell him until much later. He didn’t say anything about the salad being unavailable until the woman asked about it. If we return we would not want the same server.

   Ac was not low enough diffecult for the staff in heavy black uniforms. Orders were not correct but fixed right away. View was terrific Great place to bring visitors

   They brought the wrong entrée and when we pointed it out, they did not remove it from the bill. And it didn’t taste good it was not well prepared I ordered. I ordered duck, and they brought me airline chicken. All they did was give us two free cups of coffee. It was very disappointing.
