   It had been years since I had been to Mariposa, and the experience has changed quite a bit. While the staff was friendly, it look longer than expected to be greeted and provided water. The restaurant itself was fairly empty so we were surprised. The food was just ok, cocktails were delicious. And adding auto gratuity of 20% to a party of two was excessive. Especially when the pricing of the cocktails and food was already on the higher side. For the pricing one would expect a higher end experience- unfortunately it just missed the mark for us. The restaurant is beautiful so I hope this was an off night or they look at revamping the menu.

   Highly recommend oysters & crab cake. Teres major was phenomenal.

   It is always an amazing experience when I come to Mariposa’s . The staff is extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable. This is my partner and I frequently come and leave extremely happy.

   The experience and atmosphere was amazing . I really enjoyed Sunday brunch with friends. This definitely reminds me of the series Sex and the City .

    The mezze board was delicious, the Moroccan pie was good, the crispy cod was terrible. It was unseasoned bland, and just a bad experience.  I would go back, but I would definitely never get the crispy cod again.
