We had the best date night at Mariposa! The location was great with lots of parking options nearby. Walking in we were wowed by the high ceilings and fun and interesting decor. Our server was personable and prompt, seemingly dropping in at the perfect time to refresh our drinks or for us to order the next corse. We ate there prior to seeing a show at Blumenthal (a short 5 minute well lit walk) and our server understood our time constraints and we got to the show with time to spare. From the food runner to the manager, everyone had smiles on their faces and they truly appreciated us patronizing their lovely restaurant. We will certainly be back!

Cool ambience and food was unique. Seating was not good, however, as the chair was so much higher than the booth/couch.

Mariposa was absolutely wonderful. The small plates and the Moroccan chicken pie were all delicious and so fresh.

What a wonderful dining experience! EVERYTHING and was amazing! The staff was exceptional. I highly recommend and will definitely be dining here again. They set the bar high my first dining experience in Charlotte.

This was a special dinner with my family in town, so we wanted to take them to one of our favorite restaurants. Our server Cindy was so kind, personable, and attentive! She truly made the whole experience so special. All of the food was delicious, especially the Moroccan pie and the beef cheeks, and it arrived promptly -- we were never kept waiting. The intimate atmosphere and elegant decor of Mariposa are two of the biggest draws for us. We'll be back the next time we feel like getting fancy and celebrating.
