Food was delicious ,, atmosphere was lovely,,,, really enjoyed my Xmas dinner , along with the singer that was not over powering thank you I had a lovely Xmas day x

If you would enjoy Xmas lunch in a packed noisy motorway services style cafe, this is the place for you. The food was good, and plentiful and being a buffet you had as much or as little as you wanted. However, there were no decorations in the area we were in, the tables are incredibly close together and and they filled everyone. The tables had no cloths, and there was no feeling of any specialness. There was a singer singing pop hits loudly and thank goodness we were not near her. For families who like to fill themselves with food, in a noisy atmosphere it may be great, but for a couple who wanted a nice Xmas lunch it was absolutely horrible.

Waited 20 before we were able to order. Waited an hour and 15 mins to get to our main course. One of the potato cakes on the main wasn’t cooked. However the restaurant did make it up to us by providing a discount and giving a desert for free. So they should be commended for that. I had previously had good experiences at this restaurant, but this was our 5 year wedding anniversary dinner and it eas disappointing.

The waiters and waitresses were polite and friendly but, they were absolutely not trained for their job. The food was okay.

Not busy at all, yet service was so slow and had to ask for the bill with the desert order. I think we just got forgotten?

The restaurant was fairly empty but yet the service was slow and poor. Forgetting items. The food was reasonable but nothing better. For a “5star” hotel it’s average unfortunately

Food was a very strange experiece with items on the plate that really didnt work together, felt like someone trying to hard in an invention round of a cookery contest. Service was slow and generally quite poor. Wouldn't choose to eat here again.
