Welcome to Masa & Agave Cleveland!

Worshipped as the Aztec gods of fertility and long life, venerated for their powers of sustenance, corn masa and agave have been central to Mexican culture and cuisine since ancient times.

Using authentic techniques, we prepare corn masa-based starters and Mexico City-style tacos that are bursting with regional flavors, along with dinner classics like Pork Carnitas and Negro Monelo-Braised Beef Short Ribs.

Our collection of 100 agave spirits pays homage to the jimadores and mezcaleros who have labored over their craft for generations. Sip on a copita or two, or gather friends for one of our signature Margaritas - try the Tradicionale, Tamarindo or a Margarita al Gusto mixed with your choice of spirit. Salud!

I arrived slightly ahead of schedule and was seated right away. The bar area was slightly crowded but I was able to tuck away in the inviting lounge area. I ordered Grilled Shrimp tacos and they were chef's kiss; paired those with a passion fruit margarita and I was set! Masa & Agave is for sure one place, I'll be coming back to!

I really enjoyed my dining experience at Masa & Agave! It was a football game night between the Browns and Steelers and the energy was amazing! They had a DJ playing great music that ranged over all genres which made the dining experience even more enjoyable! The service was excellent even with how busy it was. No excessive wait times and my waitress, Samaria, was very attentive, helpful and very nice! I highly recommend trying the Queso Fundido as an appetizer and the Beef Birria and Fish Baja Tacos were so delicious! Very fresh, authentic and well presented. I would highly recommend visiting Masa & Agave next time you are in Downtown Cleveland!

It was a very busy night because of the Browns game, but M&G did a fantastic job handling it. They had music which really lent to the ambiance. We did not have to wait for any food or beverages. Our Server, Samiria was so attentive and pleasant. The whole staff really shown in how they were able to work together having the food to us in a short amount of time. I had the Queso Fundido for an appetizer, and Fish Tacos for my meal. The jalapeno tarter sauce was amazing. Overall food was so tasty the staff was fantastic and the decor was great.

Masa & Agave is one Cleveland’s best new restaurants! My group and I loved everything we ordered. The staff was friendly, and all our food was extremely fresh and tasted amazing. Their house made margaritas were a must try. 10/10 experience, will be coming back

Fantastic variety of tacos and drinks. Our table ordered the birria and shrimp tacos along with the chicken quesadilla. All were delicious and even catered to my gluten free BFF. Our server was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful restaurant experience with a great server. Asked our opinion on dishes and if they needed to be enhanced at all or what could be better. I cannot wait to visit again!

Food was okay. There was many items that were no available. The server was just okay. Didn’t have a great vibe at the restaurant. I knew something was off when we walked in at 6pm on a Saturday and there were only a few people dining.
