We are a cosy pub in the middle of the Cotswold water park area - We have a country bar with open fire in the winter and tables on the village green for those sunny summer days.
Greg (Chef) and Vicki bring to The Masons Arms 20 years experience of running pubs and take pride in amazing food and customer service with Greg creating some classic but delicious pub favorites from Pork belly to local venison and a great vegetarian selection - and of course our mouthwatering burgers.

We travelled over 15 miles to have Sunday lunch at the Maison Arms. We had visited before so we’re really looking forward to lunch. A young lad sat us down and took our order of a starter, main and drinks. The drinks came and then the main meal came ! We explained that we ordered a starter so the food was taken away, the waiter then returned offering the starter as a side dish with the main !!! Which we declined. There was a meeting of staff around the reception area in the pub and our main course was being held there. We were becoming very upset as it was clear our main course food was not going to be good. I requested that they cancel the starter and give us our main course. We thought the food would be freshened up and re-heated but it wasn’t. It was given to us cold. Enough was enough so we informed them we didn’t want to eat, the waitress said she understood and requested we just pay for the drinks which we had not drunk. We left and informed them that they had ruined our day and we would not be paying for the drinks that we had not drunk. Terrible terrible experience and our day was wrecked.

Service and food were both very good . Unfortunately we were then asked to leave the table (just under 2hours after arrival) we would have been happy to move into the bar / to another table but there was no room. This meant we had to leave before having coffee. Very disappointed as it meant that our meeting with friends was cut short very abruptly.

The day menu was excellent value and very tasty and well presented. Would definitely return!

A wide variety of choice on the menu(s). Excellent food served on warm plates by attentive and polite staff.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience from arrival to departure.. very little noticable room for any improvement, if it were necessary or possible. Couldn't fault it.

A regular for us. I had the vege burger and it was delicious, portions were generous so my husband and son were happy. I like that there is no added service charge which makes us more than happy to leave our own tip. Service was good too.

Lovely atmosphere and cosy table, warm and friendly staff who were attentive without being in your face! Food portions were fabulous and delicious too! Would highly recommend as the menu is small but perfectly formed and with such a lovely environment and staff you’re on to a winner!?

a very cold day when nobody who did not have to go out would have done, we had a reservation. I think that there are too many meal offers on the menu at the pub, it would be more sensible to have fewer offerings for different courses and concentrate on them. the pub was as nice as ever and the staff attentive but very few other diners, just one more table. It is a shame but perhaps inevitable being just after the start of the New Year when people are making resolutions about food and weight. we shall no doubt return in the future as we all like this pub.

Lovely pub with open fire. We went for weekday lunch and it was fairly quiet. Good range of food to cater for our party of meat eaters and vegans. Staff were lovely - attentive but not intrusive and we all enjoyed our food. Will definitely return.
