Fra Diavlo Scampi and steak pizzaiola were very good. Service was great. Tight quarters but never felt crowded. With a full room in tight quarters it was energetic but not too loud to not be able to carry on a conversation.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was small but nice. The food was okay. The best appetizer was the eggplant with garlic and oil. The main dishes were just okay and not worth the money. I will not be back but the staff was super nice.

The ambiance and food is nothing like it's pictured on the website. It is loud, bright, and smells like old bar towels (mold). The food is "meh". We were celebrating a 16th birthday and they lit the candles I brought right in front of us, and when one didn't light, he just shrugged, handed it over. Really disappointing overall for food, ambiance and service.

Another GREAT meal here. I always request Kim as my server, she is simply the best. She makes the best espresso martini in the city. Kim has extensive knowledge of the menu able to accommodate everyone’s preferences and restrictions. I ordered chicken parm with vodka sauce and fusilli and just WOW. Everyone in my party was happy.

Our party of 5 had a truly delicious luncheon rendezvous at Massiminos today. I have been going to this most special North End Restaurant for over 25 years and NEVER been disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere has a warm European feel. Congratulations Paul and Paulo for carrying on in such a special way what your father-in-law created many many years ago. We will be back soon (the eggplant appetizer is unique and so so good).

We had a 3:30 reservation and were looking for a chill dinner and drinks before an early Bruins Game. From the minute we arrived we were rushed with ordering and the server was continually pushing us to order more or finish up and leave. We were also shoulder to shoulder with the two tables on either side of us. It was extremely frustrating and unenjoyable.

Our experience felt strange and rushed. We didn't know it was such a small space, and we were cramped. Food was ok--nothing stood out. More than anything, we were rushed. We were in and out in about 60 min flat for what was supposed to be a special dinner. I would not go back. There are many other places to try.
