Massimo's has been a Fremont destination and landmark since opening in 1976. The name Massimo's is not only the middle name of our late founder but also means “great”. The food, service and atmosphere is the passion of owner Bill Rinetti Jr. We strive to create a cuisine that is fresh, seasonal and prepared with great care and also include some of our classical preparations including our Caesar Salad which is made in the dining room. The fare is American with bits of Italian influences. We have been featured on KQED "Check Please Bay Area".

Be sure to save room for one of Massimo's Flaming Desserts that have become one of our signature preparations.

Join us for our Annual Christmas Eve Dinner Service at Massimo's. We are serving a limited three course meal with options to add appetizers. Our menu and more details are on our website. We are requiring a credit card hold for all reservations and if you cancel before 11:00am on Tuesday December 24th, you will not pay a cancelation fee.
New Years Eve at Massimo's

End 2024 with a special dinner at Massimo's. We will be serving a limited three course menu with seatings from 5:00pm to 9:30pm. Menu and more details are on our website. At Massimo's we Ring in the New Year "East Coast Style" at 9:00pm with Party Favors for those who are dining with us at that time. We do require a credit hold for all reservations and give you until 12:00pm on December 31st to cancel and avoid a cancellation fee.

You go to Massimo’s for a soothing ambiance and old school service. The food is not innovative or trendy but solidly executed. On this visit, I appreciate that they graciously accommodated an extra person to the reservation and we never felt rushed. This is the place to go when you want to celebrate a special occasion and talk with your table mates without shouting over annoying music.

Freaking loud people in the bar, sound carried over to the dining room, that's the minus 1 star on ambiance. Everyone was having a great time. Awesome date night. First time there, enjoyable and memorable.

Food was excellent and the ambience was perfect for the holiday dinner. Service was not excellent. The waiter was confused of our dessert orders and gave us different desserts. He served the desserts without giving us forks/ spoons, we have to ask for it. One of my friends drinking glasses has hair and my husband’s glass has a bug that he asked the water to change the drinking glasses. In my opinion some of the waiters need better training to be of better service to the customers.

Came for my birthday. The food was great - we had calamari, minestrone soup, pork chop and rigatoni ala Massimos. Everything tasted perfect. The pork chop was moist and cooked just nice! Service was efficient. Will definitely come again.

Food was delicious! I particularly liked the fact that they allowed you to eat each course at a leisurely pace with the food being the perfect temperature when served. Everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff was extremely professional. A wonderful dining experience!

Great experience with excellent table service for our Caesar salads and drinks and food. The wait staff were great and engaging. It was a good time for a business dinner.
