    It was my birthday celebration and Mastro's had a Happy Birthday message on top of the menu, which was very thoughtful. Service was very good, food was excellent (besides it took a while to come). I recommend!

    We went to Mastro's for my boyfriends birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. The weather was perfect at night and we decided to sit by the intercostal which had a great view. Our server Saylor was amazing, he was patience and very thorough with us because it was our first time. For our entree we had the crab cake which was very flavorful and Defintely a big portion that you could share. For our entree I had the rack of lambs (which I had cut which brought 8 lollipops) it was so delicious and tender, he had the Porterhouse which was spot on for the birthday boy and we shared the Lobster Mac and cheese (it does not disappoint, make sure you get this). The sides are definitely shareable so they bring big portions. For dessert we had his favorite the in-house made cheesecake which was so tasty. Definitely look forward to coming back, if you come make sure to ask for Saylor!

    They did a great job making my daughter’s birthday special. Live musician was great and added to overall ambiance. The only complaint is the charge for valet. It is by no means an economy restaurant even though a small fee to park at $8 just seems like it should be included.

    The staff and manager were rude. Made reservations ask for by music if possible. Arrived early so we could possibly get our request. They were unconcerned with our request so we sat at the bar. Food was ok nothing special. Music was good but that is only thing I could say that was postive about this restaurant. They were not busy so not sure why they didn’t honor our request. But again the steak was not what you expect. Tourists trap!

    Ordered rack of lamb medium rare. Arrived as slices which were cooked on both sides. Not a cooked rack sliced but a cooked rack sliced and had obvious secondary cooking. Long story short the lamb was well done grey. Manager asked about our meal and I showed him the issue but I never had time to wait for another rack as my wife’s steak and all sides were on the table. Expected a comp or discount but alas nothing. All other aspects of the meal were favourable. $77 loss for me. Won’t be back.
