Mastros has amazing service and drinks are amazing. Food is mediocre for price. We have been twice within 30 days. First time they cooked the ribeye we ordered too well done, but they made it right. The area they sat us in was a spot for a tray to clear of tables so entire experience was clanking of dishes being stacked in my ear which was miserable. Since they made it right for that experience we decided to go back for a birthday celebration, they did make the experience feel So special for my husband. The live music was great, but we decided to not get streak but get fish and it was very bland, sides were just ok. Drinks again were amazing , service was great but not spending over 300 for a meal for mediocre food again. We have our favorites high end places to it eat and wanted one closer to home & We truly wanted to love it. :(

Favorite place for a special dinner. My favorite thing was the cherry crisp. The restaurant was packed so the service was slower that it usually is. But that’s ok, definitely will go back

Lighting was bad, table laps didn’t provide light to table or food. Valet needs two lanes. Parking was rushed.

Start to finish one of finest dining experiences in the Woodlands. Server was attentive. Staff was extremely accommodating. The raw oysters were magnificent. And the bone in rib eye melts in your mouth. Truly an amazing meal and evening.

The food, service, and ambience was all spot on. The waiter made sure we were attended throughout the evening. He kept our glasses of wine at the right level. The experience in general was worth a few extra dollars. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion but expect to drop a few coins.

I don’t think I would be telling anybody anything new about Matros ocean club. The place is excellent. The waiters are excellent. The food is excellent. They had a guy playing the guitar and singing, and I absolutely loved it along with my wife. His music set the mood to an excellent night. Matros , keep up the good work !!!

Audra and Lydia did a fantastic job serving us. excellent food, great drink service and very attentive servers. We had the porterhouse, filet and sautéed shrimp starter. all were excellent. the starter was a real pleasant surprise as it was very flavorful ad had some spice to it.

Great food and top notch service! Comparable quality to Ruth Chris and Del Friscos, but is more expensive than both.

When the server came to take our drink order, I told him that I wanted to order a bottle of a particular wine but only if it was vintaged 2021or older, he said he didn't know the vintage of it but tried to offer me a glass of it instead in case it wasn't. I said we don't want a glass, we want a bottle but only if it's vintaged 2021 or older. He seemed to get argumentative but said that he would check and let me know. He left and the wine steward came to our table and said he heard I had some questions. I explained to him what we wanted and why, because the newer vintages gives me migraines, and he informed me that the wine I wanted was vintage 2023. So I asked for a recommendation for another wine that was similar and he did and it sufficed. Dinner was ok. My date wanted lamb chops but they only had rack of lamb on the menu. We asked the server if they had lamb chops and he said yes and pointed us to the rack of lamb and said they cut it into lamb chops. When it arrived, there was this big thick "chop" on his plate that was dry and tough. Overall the experience was ok but I've had much better experiences at this Mastro's
