Great steaks and sides. Only problem this night was one of our appetizers never showed up and I asked for steak sauce twice and it never arrived. Small issues, but a restaurant like Mastroes should get it all right. We enjoyed ourselves none the less.

This really is the best tasting meal. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the music. Service was very good. The food was awesome. The flavor in the steak was amazing. I will be back again and again

We dined on Christmas Day. It was pretty busy which was expected. They were able to accommodate us earlier than our reservation and I appreciated that. However the food was awful. We started with the bread service, then shared a wedge salad. The wedge was wet if that makes sense. It was like they washed the lettuce and left the water in it. Next the entrees we ordered both came out wrong. My husband ordered the salmon well done. It was undercooked and bland. I ordered the NY strip medium well. My steak was rare. Next the sides were Brussel sprouts and the lobster mashed potatoes. The Brussels had more meat than Brussels. My husband said the mashed potatoes were soupy and had bitter pieces of lobster. Overall not a good experience for Christmas. The night prior we stopped in for the butter cake which was delicious! I wouldn't recommend dinner but dessert and drinks are a must here.

Great service, food was ok for the price, noisy atmosphere. Labeled as fine dining, customers were in sneakers, Tshirts.

Service was great, our waiter was very good and helpful. We were at a two top pushed right up against the wall. We were seated 16 inches from a round table, party of 8. We couldn’t hear each other at all. We started with the oysters, my first oyster had so many shards of shell in it, I had spit in my napkin. The Cesar salad was flooded with dressing and the croutons were stale and chewy. Even though the plates come out at 400 degrees our sides were cold, cauliflower was obviously made some time ago, limp and cold to the touch. I think dinner was somewhere around $$$$, I had water, no alcohol. I realize it was December 25th but at the cost of our dinner we should have at least enjoyed it.

If you are concerned about seed oils - they do not have a salad dressing without canola oil - including the Caesar dressing. The server suggested the heirloom tomato burrata appetizer b/c it was the only app without canola oil. Unfortunately, the tomatoes were hard as an apple and flavorless. We also ordered the large tomahawk steak. It was cooked nicely, but it had a lot of fat on it so there was a good amount of it that wasn’t edible.

Crab cakes were a mix of crab and fish. Good thing my wife knows the difference. Had to return the crab cakes since I do not eat fish. They crammed every table they could into the restaurant. We could literally eat with the folks at the next table. It was Christmas Eve, so the crowd was expected. We had the Crème Brûlée however, it was rather runny.
