                                                        Evening ended on a truly outrageous note when I was charged $3.00 apiece for ice in two Johnny Walker Black scotch's. This came after over priced tapas, a dish of spinach garlic and oil was inedible and sent back reeking of fish, and ham croquettes that should have been labeled potato croquettes as if there was ham in them it was greatly disguised as mashed potato. It was Christmas Day with a modicum of diners, however our water was never refreshed and our server was polite but did not deserve a 20% tip that I left as that is the expected custom these days. As mentioned above, the $6.00 charge for ice in my two drinks was totally unacceptable. If this is the new trend in hidden fees and gouging the paying customer it certainly made my decision to never return to this restaurant . Be aware that if you want a drink with ice I suggest BYOI - bring your own ice.

                                                        Our family tradition on Christmas Eve is dinner and a movie. This year our go-to restaurant closed and we made a last minute reservation for Matadora. Since it was Christmas Eve The restaurant was fairly quiet. Service was prompt and attentive. The drinks were excellent but a bit pricey. We ordered several tapas dishes and 1 person ordered steak. The steak was very good but the fries were more wimpy than crispy. Tapas was good. Would definitely be a fun place to go with a crowd.

                                                        We started off with the tapas menu and were enjoying it, Got through three plates, decided we wanted more and opted to split a burger. Best burger I've had in ages. French fries were awesome. Not a cheap burger. damn it was good.

                                                        Drinks were excellent - the white sangria is the perfect winter drink. Tapas was good. Very solid place. A little noisy and big but overall a good date night or night with friends!

                                                        Restaurant is in the hotel atrium so open air and open to lobby. Great tapas, tons of gluten free. Excellent.

                                                        Perfect dimly lit dinner ambience with high ceilings and posh decor. Loved the urban vibe! Savory tapas dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted delicious, especially paired with a nice wine selection. Excellent service.

                                                        Just amazing. Food was delicious and had so many options. It was easy to share with my partner. Staff were generous and attentive but not overbearing. Just a great experience.
