The space is a bit small but they’ve done the best with what they have. Our service and food were very good.

Great experience. We had delicious mini burgers and pizza. But what stood out was the host and waitress could not do enough to accommodate us. Will definitely be back!!

Dinner before the Caps game. Even though they were packed the service was pretty good and the food came out quickly. I had the Slamon and my friend the pizza. We both enjoyed out meal. My only complaint is that I ordered soup as an appetizer but it came out after the entre was served.

There is a distinct odor in parts of this restaurant that resembles the smell of urinal cakes used in a men's room. All 6 of us at our table detected the unpleasant odor. Also, on a cold night like the night i was there there is a strong draft of cold air when someone enters or exits the restaurant. A vestibule is badly needed.

Had a lovely brunch on 8 December. The pancakes were fluffy (and huge) but should have come with more syrup. The bacon had a maple glaze on it (delicious). Our waiter, Mya, was attentive and responsive. The All-American breakfast was very good. Plenty to eat and good service made for a nice morning.

First table we were brought to didn't have chairs, then placed to the farthest one near the walk in fridge and stairs to the kitchen. Everytime someone came to the table it was someone new. After we got our food no one came by for over 30 minutes and couldn't flag anyone for the longest time. Were about to put money on the table and walk out, and finally flagged down someone's attention. Bizarre night. Food was fair, cheaper than what you'll find in neighboring restaurants in that area so a good spot for a low key date or hang out.

A fabulous evening with my dad—& our waiter definitely went above & beyond by helping me out of my jacket (the zipper got stuck). Our only complaint is that the music volume was a little bit too high.

Very good pre-game meal at Matchbox … it was a full house, but our waitress still provided personalized and great service!

The food was great - fantastic pizzas, a really nice salad, good cocktails. The spicy meatball pizza was especially good! We were frustrated that even with a reservation that request a quiet soot as we were bringing our 80yo mother, we got seated at high tops at the bar in a major artery for the wait staff, and the restaurant was both unapologetic and difficult about it. One we moved the table out of the artery (us, not them), and got her up onto the stool chair, it was fine. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, though very busy so a little less frequently available than we may have expected. But he was working hard and it was definitely doing his best to keep up.
