It was my first time trying Matteo’s and everything was excellent!! I had the lobster pasta which I highly recommend.

Food and service were good. Extensive wine list (by the glass, too)! Espresso martini was NOT as advertised — tasted like it was shaken and poured from a Cutwater can.

We truly enjoy Matteo. The service is always wonderful and we haven't had a bad meal yet. My steak was done to absolute perfection (which is hard to accomplish with my picky palate). My daughter had the pollo. We both had Panna cotta for dessert--a favorite. Delish!

Food was ok, bread service focaccia was mediocre (owner should go try focaccia at Central 9th Market in SLC to understand what I’m talking about) … we ate nothing out of this world, my wife’s pasta was undercooked, mine over, but flavors were generally good. $17 calamari appetizer was a tiny portion for price and sauce / squid was just ok. Veal was good, but hard to not be when fried and covered in cheese, accompanying rosemary potatoes were actually best thing I ate flavor wise. The panna cotta was delicious, but by no means a panna cotta with zero wobble. Ambiance and service was nice. I’d give it another chance.
