   Not a great night. It took a very long time to get our food and the restaurant was freezing. This was our first negative experience at Matteo’s. I hope it was just a fluke.

   Baked clams 👍... fried calamari 👍🏻... Caesar salad 👍🏻... Salmon 👍🏻... Veal franchise 👎🏻 unfortunately the deal was very tough

   I love that they come around to your table to make sure you are happy with your meal. My husband had a different expectation about his dinner selection and they were happy to replace it with another menu item. I have been there many times and the food is always very good and the service was great as well. It’s a keeper!

   This was our first time here. Dennis made us feel like we were regulars. Food was outstanding service was incredible. Made our birthday celebration a very special one and we will definitely be returning with our family and friends.

   Our overall experience was fantastic. Despite a busy night, the kitchen kept up with serving hot meals to each table. Each entree was delicious with our server, Wilmer, checking regularly. The GM, Dennis, also was working the room checking tables too. A very well greased machine

   For 5:30 pm seating the noise level was good, but as the time passed the noise level was way high and we had to raise our voices to chat with our friends for their birthdays celebrations. Our meals were very good, appetizers & drinks good. The four of us were disappointed a bit with the waiters because our bread dishes & knives were taken away. These bread dishes usually stay on table until meals are finished. Also, I still had my dinner fork in my hand with food on my plate & waiter asked if I wanted my plate wrapped up to go. Too fast..

   The service was awful over an hour to get off food when it did finally come. One of the dishes was too hot to eat for 10 minutes and the other one was too cold and had clearly been sitting there waiting for the server to serve it. The manager did give us a discount, but it didn’t make up for the loss of a Saturday night. It was just a bad date night and we won’t go back there

    Food and drinks and service was amazing the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is the dessert options weren’t the best (we got 4 different to try) some were better than others but everything else was perfect!
