Absolutely terrible food and service! It started out well with a very nice table at the railing looking out on downtown Waikiki. Everything went downhill immediately after that. The server pointed out three items that were currently not available, and then continued to give us her recommendations, that we did not ask for. She left to get our drinks while we discussed what to order. On her return, I attempted to order the Butterfish. As she entered the Butterfish into her tablet she said, sorry, that’s unavailable too. My husband then attempted to order a Caesar salad with grilled fish. Her answer was sorry, no grilled fish. Really??? In Hawaii and you don’t have grilled fish! She said honestly, they were short on staff and the kitchen was only half opened, apparently no one working the grill station. We could only order fried food. (Now we understood why she made recommendations.) I ended up ordering the fish and chips and my husband settled on a veggie burger. My fish was ok but the fries were old and stale. The server also never returned once during our meal to check on us. I wanted to order another drink but when she did return we had long finished our meal. With so many dining options in the area, I would strongly urge people to avoid this place. I can’t imaging that it will be in business much longer if it’s managed like this.

After being seated for 15 minutes of reviewing g the menu, and getting our beverages, the waiter (Jeff) came to take our order. When we started to order, he stopped after our first item to say “the next half of the menu is not available.” I responded “why didn’t you tell us that when you gave us the menus?” We had 5 kids already focused on choices only to get surprised. Terrible service.

I have been to this location twice now and even though I wasn’t impressed on the first visit, I figured I would try it again. Keep in mind, these visits were roughly 5 years apart. On this last visit, the restaurant was fairly busy and the noise level from the crowd and performer was pretty loud. The food was super mediocre yet again and the price point was a touch higher than a lot of options in the area. I hate to run down a business trying to survive in this economy but you have to do your part if you’re going to take my money. Sadly I won’t be returning but I wish them well as it’s just not for me.

2nd time here on vacation & each time my server shift must end or something… we get food then we are left at the table looking for our server. After 30 plus minutes, we ask other servers if they can locate our server to only be told oh they were cut(sent home or off I guess). I was only here for a week & thus shouldn’t have happened both times. No drink refills, no one checking, and having to look for your ticket to pay.

Amazing food, with a wonderful variety of options. Our server was prompt and friendly. The location is perfect and ambiance is ideal for a weekend spot to relax and enjoy a nice meal. The live music topped off the night…we will definitely be back!
