    Had reservations and upon checking in was informed of a 30 minute delay. It would have been considerate to inform those with reservations of the delay via a text message. We placed our order and later informed one of the three desserts ordered was no longer available. We later found out it was because our dessert ordered want placed until the end of our meal instead of when we ordered. Wait staff are always pleasant. Restrooms are clean. Food was delicious but there was quite a wait to have it served after ordering. Overall great place to dine and will be back again.

    The restaurant was backed up with reservations and were running 30 minutes behind when we arrived for a 4:00 pm seating

    I love going to M&S. This was a special Christmas dinner for my daughter. We used to go to the M&S on Beaverton Hillsdale hwy. We had reservations at 3:30 and were seated at 4:10. This was upsetting but it was Christmas. Our salads were served by 4:30…..but our main entrees of salmon and steak were not served until 6:15. It seems our order got lost. I was given a free glass of wine for inconvenience. Dinner here has always been a treat because it’s expensive but food and service are excellent …but tonight it felt much like a cattle call. I gave it a 4 because it’s Christmas 🎄

    We had reservations, but the restaurant was not prepared for the volume, so we waited a half hour to be seated. After waiting to be seated till still took a while to be served. Sadly, the food was not up to the usual standard. We were very disappointed and think this could’ve been averted with better planning on the restaurants part. It seems that they overbooked and were not able to adequately. take care of the patrons they had. Very disappointing.

    Our server was lovely. Funny, patient and generous in spirit towards my friend with cerebral palsy.

    Knowing that it was a Holiday, the noise was unbearable, the wait time bearable, the service O.K. but the food had a hell-of-a-lot to be desired: the salad was actually very good, but the meal ended being great. First I made the mistake of ordering the filet-mignon. (should have known better),second it came saying MOO. when the server took it back to correct this, it came back pink but close to shoe leather. OH! Well, like I was saying, it was a holiday and I should have known better. Saying all of this I will not be going back to this restaurant in the near future.

    In recent years M&S Grill had become a little complacent in the preparation of their food. NOT ANY MORE! Delicious, well prepared food that showed both care in preparation but a real love of the craft. THREE CHEERS M&S Grill. I shall return much more often!

    One of my very favorite restaurants in the Portland area! Food is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is always great. I hope it never changes. Jim

    After waiting close to an hour for our food, I asked to speak with the GM. She told me the pork chop on the menu takes a minimum of 25 minutes - we had ordered one. Our waiter never mentioned that. She assumed he had and didn't offer an apology. Her attitude was 'whatever.' The food was ok, but after 30 years of going to this location, we'll never go back - in a typical year, we used to go 5-6 times. 'There are no spare customers' is printed on the bill - maybe no one mentioned that to the staff? We were definitely the spares ,and will vote with our money in the future.
