Visit McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks in Atlanta's exclusive and interactive entertainment venue, the CNN Center, also home to the luxurious Omni Hotel and Cable News Network's global headquarters. Very poor-quality food......It was visibly EXTREMELY overcooked and dry. Even though I noted to the waiter that it was not very good he did not offer to replace. I had to ask for additional gravy just to make the meat edible as it was so overheated. My guest requested a different vegetable then the one noted with his meal, it was a vegetable already on the menu, instead of just switching it, they agreed, but charged extra for it. Had we known, we would have ordered it as an additional side, and I could have had his original since my green beans were so overcooked they had withered to nothing and incredibly they still served them. The portions were small and not worth the prices. The only reason we even stayed and suffered with the poor food was being a holiday, not much else was open or available. This location, of what should be a high-end restaurant is likely still in business only due to the fact they are located in Centennial Olympic Park, next to the World of Coke, CNN, and the Georgia Aquarium so they have continuous business due to it being a highly visited tourist area. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere, anywhere else.

We always enjoy McCormick & Schmick’s — delicious food, an intimate ambiance and great service. Thanksgiving dinner was very well done.

My friend and I came here to have dinner before the Mariah Carey Christmas Concert. I had the ribeye, it was excellent and we topped it off with the apple pie for dessert. I would highly recommend especially if you have an event to attend in the nearby area.

Our server was great, time timing to be seated, the timing for food and the actual meal was excellent. I had the blackened Salmon and my manager had the Swordfish. We both cleared our plates and I normally can't eat more than half of my meal. It was my first time dining there and the restaurant lived up to the reputation that I have heard of it over the years.

It's like going to a rock concert. Don't expect a quiet atmosphere. Price is high but the food is great. The Chef is excellent here. Portions are appropriate. No problem eating with IBS. Service is experienced and friendly for a leisurely evening. The crowd is mostly business.

Secess made our evening absolutely perfect. From the moment she greeted us, she was kind, professional, and inviting. We ordered steak and salmon entrees. The steak was cooked to a perfect requested temperature and came with some mashed potatoes and broccolini (in fact, I ordered some extra mashed potatoes to go). The salmon was delicious as well and severed with risotto! Quality truly meets value in this restaurant. We will definitely be back next time we are in Atlanta.

Service was very slow. Thankfully the manager noticed we seem to be waiting for our drinks and went and served them to us. The food was not great. The clam chowder was runny and the chicken I had on my salad was so dry it was barely edible. The one item that was OK was the calamari.
