Since 1998, McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks has served Baltimore delicious seafood with a contemporary twist. Our classic décor features hand-crafted walnut wood, as well as beveled and stained glass – creating the warm, sophisticated atmosphere of a private club. As weather permits, outdoor dining is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A distinctive feature of our restaurant is our beautiful bar area that offers you a comfortable environment from which to enjoy a wide variety of wines, beers, classic drinks, and trendy cocktails.
Located on the famous Inner Harbor, we offer a one-of-a-kind destination with a view of the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse and a quick walk, drive or Water Taxi ride to many popular sports venues, shopping and attractions. Service was somewhat slow, not horrible but noticeablely slow. The larger issue- the fish was overcooked. My wife had the “seared” ahi tuna which should have been red and cool in the center but was basically alll white and thus dry, totally wrong prep for ahi tuna. My swordfish was also all white which is not totally unusual, but generally a better prep is for a bit of pink in the center which this was not. We ate both meals, but they certainly could have been better.

Never even brought water to our table. Had to stand up and find server to get the bill as we sat for a long time after we and our two toddlers ate. The food was excellent but the service horrific. We stood for 15 minutes waiting for someone to even acknowledge our existence when we entered. We entered a minute before our reservation but were not seated for 25 minutes.

I had an unusual experience this visit. My waiter was very inattentive. I waited a long time before my waiter even brought me water and took my drink order. There was a Halloween special that night and he didn’t tell me about it. I had to ask him about it. My bread came nearly after I finished my meal. He didn’t check on me for drink refills. The food was great though. It my usual experience at McCormick & Schmicks. I love this restaurant and come often.

We went to celebrate a friends birthday and take advantage of a special Haunted prefix meal option for Halloween. Let me start by saying the food was delicious, but everything else went from bad to worse. The waiter spilled an entire glass of water on my husband and me and proceeded to try to wipe us off with a napkin. Then, one of our friends had a gnat in his drink. Gnats were flying around and seem to be an issue. Then, the worse part is the birthday girl mentioned that she was allergic to nuts when she placed her order. The waiter never said the apple pie had nuts baked in it and it wasn’t noted on the menu. Needless to say she had an allergic reaction. We had to ask to speak with the manager twice. When she (Taylor) finally arrived, she offered to call the ambulance or go across the street and get Benadryl. The birthday girl opted for the Benadryl. Then to add insult to injury, the waiter came out to give the birthday girl a complimentary birthday dessert and it had nuts in it too! Meanwhile, the manager never came back with the Benadryl and the waiter only offered to remove the birthday girl’s meal from the bill. I had to tell him to remove her drink and the drink that had the gnat in it! We had to leave and take the birthday girl to get medicine and never got to speak with anyone about this travesty. What could have been a great celebration was ruined by incompetence, negligence, and gnat infestation. But the chef did a great job with the food.

Adele ROCKS! We were on a bit of a time crunch. We let Adele know early on in the evening. She remembered that our goal was to depart the restaurant between 6:45 and 7PM. She cared for all of our dining needs from appetizers to desert and swiftly prepared and brought our check at 6:45. Thank you! The food was quite good from start to finish.
