Located on the picturesque waterfront of the Potomac River, McCormick & Schmick provides stunning views of the river, offers heated outdoor dining and is accessible via water taxi from Old Town, Virginia, and Georgetown, Washington, DC. From fresh seafood and shellfish to Steak and garden fresh salads, our goal is to exceed your dining expectations. As our guest, you will experience culinary excellence at its best. Our menus reflect seafood from the Pacific Rim, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico. We also source products from local ranches, farms, and wineries to showcase regionally inspired dishes.

    The service could have been better. There was no one in the restaurant and ou server was very slow and not that friendly. I do like that you offer the voyage menu at a reasonable fee.

    Overall great experience, we started with the crab cakes - amazing. All of our meals were served timely, hot and delicious. Our waiter recommended the brown butter cake, it was so good, highly recommend this dessert.

    Our server Myesha was amazing. She didn’t miss a beat and was an absolute pleasure. The food is average and the bathrooms could really use some attention.

    My experience was extremely exceptional. The waitress was very polite and very attentive. We will definitely recommend your restaurant. We will also make your restaurant one of our go to place's. Thank you for awesome birthday experience.

    The tables and chairs are a bit old. The bathroom was the worse and we dined at the start of the day. The bathroom smells and it’s outdated. The entire place could use renovations. The food was ok. The calamari was over cooked. My shrimp meal came with soup which was pretty good but there weren’t many shrimp on the lunch plate, considering the price. The service was great. Miesha was our server and she was great.

    Only issue is the music was pretty loud, it kinda cheapened the experience . Like we were in a bar or something. Other than that the food was very good, the jalapeño granita with the fresh oysters was special. Def recommend the sugar spice salmon, the risotto was impressive and the fish was cooked perfectly. The jumbo lump crab cakes, I was skeptical…, they were maybe the best I’ve had in the area. Overall it was a really good experience just a lil less classy than I had originally thought… it was my first time at this location.

    Went here for late dinner on NYE, had a 9:45 reservation, we were rushed out (lights up and music off within 35-40 mins) bc apparently the restaurant closes at 10, doesn’t make sense if reservation is at 9:45. Food was ok and server did his best but it was obvious that he wanted us out which I understand on NYE but then don’t offer a 9:45 reservation. I understand that this was a holiday situation but we won’t be going back there again. Whole party was very disappointed especially when you spend $$$.
