Located on the picturesque waterfront of the Potomac River, McCormick & Schmick provides stunning views of the river, offers heated outdoor dining and is accessible via water taxi from Old Town, Virginia, and Georgetown, Washington, DC. From fresh seafood and shellfish to Steak and garden fresh salads, our goal is to exceed your dining expectations. As our guest, you will experience culinary excellence at its best. Our menus reflect seafood from the Pacific Rim, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico. We also source products from local ranches, farms, and wineries to showcase regionally inspired dishes.

    We had a great dinner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We took our daughter and her friends for her 16th birthday and they made sure to give them a table to see the Christmas tree and they told them to run out on the patio to see the fireworks. Food was amazing! Highly recommend Wagyu Steak Frites!

    Had an amazing time at the restaurant celebrating my 60th birthday and Jennifer our waitress was100 percent awesome. Thank you for the wonderful experience at your restaurant.

    I think we all enjoyed our meals. I only had a problem with my steak. It was too much charcoal on the steak. I loved my lobster. Our waiter was kind and he got all of our orders right.

    Ordered calamari appetizer, Chilean sea bass, and ahi tuna. Calamari and sea bass were excellent. Unfortunately the ahi tuna was overcooked. It was like eating it directly from a can of Chicken of the sea: dried and flaky. I addressed this with the wait staff and was offered another; however, did not have enough time to wait. It was my girl friend’s birthday and they did comp here dessert. Nice touch.

    I set up my reservation for 7pm but I noticed at 6:30 the time had changed to 5:30 - the app screws up sometimes! The restaurant took us anyway, even though they were were very busy. We had a great time.

    Nice Thanksgiving outing with family. For $40, the Thanksgiving needed more food items to choose from (sweet potatoes; roast beef; light & dark meat turkey; smoked & fried turkey choices;). There was very little cranberry sauce; and no dessert came with the meal? If it did, we didn’t get any dessert?

    The food and drink was very delicious . The wait time for a server to acknowledge our table was a bit of a wait but otherwise from that it was a pleasant experience.
