It was a surprise to see a Genshin event in Houston, and as soon as I heard it, I had instantly reserved a spot. It was great hearing the music from Genshin over the speakers as my friends and I played the game together along with some complimentary snacks from McDonalds for the collaboration. Staff was friendly and attentive. The cosplayers looked amazing and the decor and photo ops were great! Free swag was a bonus, hope to see more Hoyoverse events in Houston!

US Genshin events tend to be mediocre and this event was no exception. Wasn’t really sure what to expect because the info was vague. No opportunity to buy official merch. It was pretty clear some of the staff didn’t know anything about Genshin itself. And my friend was heckled by security for bringing in their own food and drink for medical reasons. For a free event it wasn’t bad but don’t recommend.

I went there not knowing what to expect, but I was thoroughly impressed and surprised how nice it was. I look forward to another experience like this.
