    Everything was great, from the minute we entered, to the friendly staff checking us in and to our table, quality and taste of the food was good, just a little gutted on the size of the poached eggs, literally one bite and they’re done lol or maybe was just me but I guess I just expected the amount of food to price ratio would of been a little more balanced. All in all though as for taste and service- 10/10 5* as this was my first time. Won’t be my last

    Absolutely love it at Medicine. Been a few times to meet friends for breakfast and it never disappoints. Pretty much always end up taking a cake home also as it’s difficult to avoid as they are amazing. Thank you.

    It was too busy and you never have the waitress come back and ask if you want anything else. You have to get her attention to ask for extras of anything. It didn’t seem like there was enough staff on so to be honest I cannot actually blame the team as they were trying. We also had to wait quite some time for someone to be free to take payment!

Weekends do get very busy at times, we appreciate your patience and understanding .We have a great team at Codsall and they manage the busy times very well. Unfortunately, although we always ensure we have a strong team on, there can be short peaks that we do not expect, especially in January.     The best for breakfast, brunch, lunch, high tea, low tea, snacks, with family, friends, business meetings or first dates. Gets very busy but the team are always on point. Bring plenty of money so you can buy their sourdough, rye bread and cakes. Man, those cakes and croissants and have you tried the vegetarian sausage rolls? Heaven on a high street.

    The Korean chicken looked amazing, the eggs Benedict was underwhelming with far too much bread in relation to egg or sauce. The service was fine and there’s always a nice atmosphere.

    My best friend and I regularly meet for brunch and Medicine is always our first choice. It is always busy on a Saturday morning which is a great vibe so we expect to wait a little while, we always seem to have to wait atleast 20 minutes for our order to be taken which then means another 30 minutes for food which is always good which is why we keep booking..until our visit yesterday .. I arrived at 10.25 am five minutes early. We were seated by an efficient front of house member of staff. We waited until 10.50 for our order to be taken, drinks came quite soon BUT our food arrived at 11.30! We asked twice about the delay. When my breakfast brioche arrived the bacon was barely cooked not the inviting slightly crispy bacon I usually enjoy… we didn’t mention this as the front house staff gave us a complimentary coffee as an apology for the delay. There were just two food service staff ( one was a new member of staff) is that fair on the staff or us as customers.. ? I will continue to book in the hope that next time we eat in a timely fashion and the kitchen don’t rush our order. I think feedback is good ..without it we can’t facilitate change.

    Hi Caroline, Thank you for taking the time in sharing your experience on the 4th Jan. I am so sorry you had to wait so long for your food and it wasn't up to our normal high standards. I have investigated your comments with the management team.They were fully staffed front of house, including both Managers on the floor , unfortunately, there had been an earlier issue with the printer that shares orders with the kitchen team. This caused a short delay in service, for the chefs to catch up. Please in future, always make us aware if your order is not perfect as we will always be happy to replace.
